Jaipur, August 16: The World Hindu Congress (WHC), the largest global platform of the Hindu community, will be held this year in Mumbai, the economic capital of India. The conference will be organised on December 18, 19 and 20 at the Jio World Convention Centre. The theme of the conference is ‘Samanam Vratam Saha Chittam’ — meaning shared resolve and collective determination. Hindu leaders, thinkers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, academicians, journalists and social workers from India and different parts of the world will gather at the conference. Discussions will be held on the resurgence of Dharma, culture and society.
Swami Vigyananand, the initiator of the World Hindu Congress and Joint General Secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, during a press conference on August 16 said that seven parallel thematic conferences will be organised at WHC 2026: World Hindu Economic Forum, Hindu Education Conference, Hindu Media Conference, Hindu Political Conference, Hindu Women Conference, Hindu Youth Conference and Hindu Organisational Conference. All these platforms will provide new energy to the diversity, creativity and entrepreneurship of Hindu society.
Swami Vigyananand said that today Hindu society is in a far more visible, accepted and respected position compared to the previous century. Now is the time to organise ourselves and, with firm resolve, realise Hindu aspirations and face the challenges that test our unity.
He informed that Piramal Group Chairman Shri Ajay Piramal has been appointed Chairman of WHC 2026, while Shri Vishad Mafatlal and Shri Mahesh Bhagchandka have been appointed Co-Chairmen. The conference will become a centre for networking, exchange of ideas and concrete action plans. Special emphasis will be placed on the strategic needs of the Hindu community, paving the way for meaningful cooperation among Hindu leaders, thinkers and activists. WHC 2026 has come with the resolve to provide new energy to deep pride in Hindu identity and unwavering commitment to Hindu Dharma.
