Job Description: Assistant Manager – Advertisement Sales

Function: Private & Commercial Advertisement Sales

Experience: 3–4 Years

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field. MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.

Role Overview

We are looking for a result-oriented Advertisement Sales professional to drive revenue through new private-sector client acquisition, brand partnerships and commercial advertising opportunities. The role will focus on developing business from corporates, private brands, retail businesses and advertising/media agencies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify, approach and acquire new private-sector corporate, commercial and retail advertisers.
2. Generate advertisement revenue through direct clients, brands and advertising/media agencies.
3. Develop business through brand tie-ups, retail features, special issues and customised advertising solutions.
4. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking and regular client meetings.
5. Understand client requirements, pitch suitable advertising solutions, negotiate commercials and close deals independently.
6. Develop existing private accounts through repeat business, renewals, cross-selling and upselling.
7. Consistently achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.

Experience & Skills

1. 3–4 years of relevant experience in Media Sales, Advertisement Sales, Corporate Sales or Retail Advertising.
2. Proven ability in new client acquisition and revenue generation.
3. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and deal-closing skills.
4. Understanding of print, digital and integrated advertising solutions will be an advantage.

Role Scope

This position is exclusively focused on Private & Commercial Advertisement Sales. The candidate will be responsible for generating business from private corporates, brands, retail clients and advertising/media agencies.
