NEW DELHI: On the occasion of Vijayadashami Utsav, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Motihari district, organised Shastra Pujan and Path Sanchalan at the local Narsingh Baba Temple premises.

Victory is achieved not merely through weapons but through an organised and morally strong society. The founding objective of the Sangh is also to organise the entire society. The construction of a new Bharat will not be achieved solely through modern technology or economic progress; it also requires a return to our ancient cultural heritage and values, said Sah Sarkaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal while addressing Vijayadashami Utsav event in Motihari, Bihar.

He said, “Bharat’s ancient cultural ethos is so rich that it is fully capable of addressing global challenges in changing times and showing the world the right path.”

Highlighting the journey of the Sangh in the context of its centenary year, he said that Sangh work is neither a celebration nor a festival, but a commitment to continuous self-discipline and to living for society with authenticity and selflessness. Making the country prosperous in every sphere and a Vishwaguru is not within the capacity of any particular individual or organisation alone. Rather, all citizens of the country must live in the national interest with a selfless outlook. The festival of Vijayadashami conveys the message of recognising our strength, overcoming society’s loss of self-awareness and awakening national consciousness.

The chief guest, Archana Kumari Ji, Principal of the DIET Training Institute, highlighted the role of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the present social environment.
