MUMBAI: As curtain raises for the largest confluence of the global Hindu community and for the biggest civilisational dialogue, World Hindu Congress(WHC), 2026 is set to attract more than 4000 delegates from 60 countries. Representatives from the global Hindu community who have accomplished remarkable heights in various strategically vital sectors such as business, media, education, academia, politics, culture, technology etc. are set to converge in Mumbai from December 10 to 20, to advance ideas, initiate strategic discussions and assure civilisational resurgence and prosperity.
The theme of World Hindu Congress 2026 is “Samanam Vratam Saha Chittam – Shared Commitment, Collective Resolve”. The event will feature more than 45 sessions addressed by more than 150 speakers who are experts in diverse sectors such as education, academia, economy, politics, youth movement, tech world, culture, women empowerment, media, Hindu activism etc. The leaders will deliberate on ways and means for the future of Hindu society and its potential contribution to global prosperity.
Most importantly, the WHC 2026, will provide a platform for the Hindu youth to connect, collaborate, exchange ideas and thereby script India’s growth story with civilisational renaissance. Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Chief Ministers & institutional experts to address
Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr Mohan Bhagwat will address the inaugural session of the World Hindu Congress, 2026. Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav will address the World Hindu Congress. Other dignitaries including Vishal Chaturvedi, Director of Hanuman Ansh, Ashishkumar Chauhan, Managing Director & CEO of National Stock Exchange(NSE), Ashwini Bhide, Municipal Commissioner of BMC and MD of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation are set to participate.

4 plenary sessions on Dharma, Samaj, Vishwakarma & Bhasha
The key pillars or core ideas of deliberation in the World Hindu Congress(WHC), 2026 includes Dharma, Samaj(Society), Bhasha(language) and Vishwakarma(Skill development). The Hindu leaders will ideate on how these forces can be a unifying factor among the Hindu community and aid civilisational resurgence or cultural revival.
The Dharma plenary will bring together spiritual leaders representing diverse Dharmic traditions, sampradayas, spiritual institutions and philosophical schools from Bharat and other parts of the world, providing a platform for dialogue and exchange on the role of Dharma in contemporary society. Similarly, the Samaj plenary will focus on the social dimension of Hindu society and bring together experts from different communities, traditions and social institutions to deliberate on social cohesion, community development and the challenges before Hindu society.
The Bhasha plenary will highlight the rich linguistic diversity of Hindu society, recognising the role of Bharat and the global Hindu community’s many languages in preserving civilisational knowledge, literature, traditions and cultural identity. Language is promoted as a unifying source, a tool for communication and to exchange civilisational wisdom, rather than a disruptive agency. The Vishwakarma plenary will focus on skill development, skilled workforce, entrepreneurship, innovation and the contribution of artisans, craftsmen and professionals to economic and social development. It will explore ways to strengthen the dignity of skilled workforce in Bharat and create greater global opportunities for the next generation.
World Hindu Expo
The unique and most noticeable feature of the World Hindu Congress, 2026 is the World Hindu Expo. The inaugural expo is aimed at stimulating trade and commerce and catalysing a new era of prosperity and economic growth for the Hindu society. It especially aims to provide opportunities to the youth to share ideas, collaborate on global scale and write India’s growth story.
The World Hindu Congress held once every four years, has seven parallel conferences that showcases how the values, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the global Hindu community find expression in a variety of spheres, including economics, education, media, politics and other sectors. Interactive sessions offer space to deliberate the challenges and opportunities facing the Hindu community across the globe and aims to seek tangible solutions for the progress and prosperity of Hindus and the betterment of humanity as a whole. The inaugural WHC 2014 was held in Delhi, followed by WHC 2018 in Chicago and WHC 2023 in Bangkok.
