The workshop witnessed the participation of more than 500 students, teachers, researchers, and academicians from across the country. The event served as a significant platform for in-depth discussions on the scientific foundations of homeopathy, ongoing research, its contribution to public health, and its evolving role within an integrated healthcare system.

The workshop was inaugurated by Inder Singh Parmar, Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Parmar expressed appreciation for Arogya Bharati’s efforts in bringing various medical disciplines onto a common platform to create new dimensions in healthcare delivery. He reiterated the Madhya Pradesh Government’s commitment to the development of all AYUSH systems, including homeopathy, and stressed that such initiatives should be organized regularly. He also congratulated Arogya Bharati on the successful conduct of this national-level workshop.

The inaugural session was graced by Dr Tarkeshwar Jain, Chairman of the National Commission for Homeopathy, New Delhi, as the distinguished guest. He highlighted that homeopathy is steadily evolving as a research-driven medical discipline. He noted that the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, is continuously working to strengthen the field through various schemes and opportunities for students and practitioners, thereby promoting quality education and research.

Dr Ashok Kumar Varshney, National Organising Secretary of Arogya Bharati and the keynote speaker of the event, introduced the organization and informed the audience that Arogya Bharati currently conducts health-related activities in nearly 92 percent of India’s districts. He emphasised the growing need for an integrated healthcare model in which different systems of medicine contribute their unique strengths and specialties to provide better patient care.

Dr Sanjay Mishra, Deputy Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, spoke about various AYUSH initiatives being implemented by the state government and reiterated its commitment to making AYUSH healthcare accessible to every section of society.

During the technical sessions, several eminent experts shared their insights on diverse aspects of homeopathy.
