It is the year 2026. The lifestyle is very much modified as the mindset of people has also changed. Still few patterns are not even slightly changed i.e. sunrise and sunset are the same event which has been taking place since ages. Food recipes have changed but even new recipes still turn into blood which is coloured red, consistently.
The observation says you may adopt new operations but you need to respect the eternal fundamentals as well. In short, old is gold and recent is decent. So, the need of the hour is Descent Gold, I mean holistic healthcare.
Rooting for Ayurveda
Ayurveda has been taking care of human health by prevention as well as treatment including surgery for 5,000 years. All our forefathers have benefited through Ayurveda whenever required, as there was no other methodology to take care of our forefathers. We certainly have gratitude towards Ayurveda for the same.
In the last few hundred years, Allopathy healthcare has evolved with absolute precision in diagnosis and objective criteria of explanation in reductionist methodology. Due to huge help of State resources in terms of thousands of crores budget with policy friendly ecosystem , it has a wide reach of availability to a large number of citizens. Government infrastructure has provided a huge and exclusive platform to perform the treatment and documentation to showcase the strength of Allopathy.
Fortunately, we have our own Ministry of AYUSH which was established in 2014. This new Ministry was established to promote and provide Ayurveda healthcare to all citizens of India and showcase the power of Indian systems of medicine to the world. The exclusive Ministry and support of the State led to much needed work on documentation, research, publication, policy, insurance, validation and promotion of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidhha, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Sowa Rigpa and other traditional Indian systems of healthcare. A very crisp and positive approach of the Indian Government turned into an atmosphere of Holistic Healthcare possibilities.
Adopting Holistic Approach
At SGVP Holistic Hospital, Ahmedabad, the actual holistic approach has been in practice since its inception in 2017. The SGVP Holistic Hospital has state of the art operation theatres, ICU and Panchkarma therapy facility under the same roof available simultaneously. This is successfully moving ahead and becoming popular as Doctors and Vaidyas are working as a team of patients while defeating the disease. The regular meeting of Doctors and Vaidyas have earned mutual respect as well as faith about their respective integrity. Being curious about other pathy and discussing with colleagues enriches both with clarity.
In modern days, diagnosis is derived out of investigation reports printed on paper by pathologists and radiologists. After treatment through Ayurveda or Allopathy or with holistic treatment if health is achieved , it is a matter of joy for the patients. Healthcare professionals have started accepting that if the treating doctor is not open minded about holistic approach, patients would either hide the facts of consulting other experts or they would switch to another open minded Doctor.
The mindset of collective approach has been in the DNA of Indians. Hence, all true Indians are welcoming Holistic Healthcare Approach by keeping pseudo ego aside in favour of the patient. When there was no GPS facility available, travellers moved across the world by finding the routes with available methods. With GPS, we find the route through it in different styles and travel to reach the destination. The importance of travel and reaching the destination is important and not the GPS. The objective behind the travelling is even more significant. So the methodologies are tools and not the destination. Where to reach and why to reach is much more significant in comparison of how to reach.
Let us set a golden benchmark by establishing a holistic mindset in healthcare to prove both the sayings i.e. ‘Old is Gold’ & ‘Recent is Decent’.
