Officials are also scrutinising whether the WhatsApp group played any role in mobilising protesters or encouraging acts that led to clashes with police and damage to public property. As part of the probe, investigators are expected to examine digital evidence alongside CCTV footage, drone recordings and videos collected from the protest site.
