New Delhi: A controversy has erupted on social media after screenshots of alleged conversations from a WhatsApp group named “Chalo Sansad” went viral, with users claiming the chats reveal discussions encouraging extreme actions during the ongoing protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The allegations have drawn attention because they also name the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and activist Abhijeet Dipke.

According to the viral post, the WhatsApp group “Chalo Sansad” is alleged to have been created by supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party. The post claims that members of the group openly discussed the possibility that if a protester were to die during the agitation, it would increase pressure on the government.
One of the alleged messages reportedly states that the death of a participant during the protest would strengthen the movement by putting greater pressure on the authorities. Another purported chat allegedly says that if someone is willing to sacrifice their life, future generations would remember them with gratitude, suggesting that such a sacrifice would become a symbol for the movement.
The social media post alleges that these conversations indicate an attempt to push the protest towards a violent confrontation rather than a peaceful demonstration. It further claims that individuals associated with the group are trying to turn the protest at Jantar Mantar into a “bloody conflict.”
The post also directly names Abhijeet Dipke, accusing him of harbouring or supporting individuals involved in the alleged discussions. It urges Delhi Police to take the strictest legal action against those responsible for the WhatsApp messages and to investigate Dipke’s alleged role.
The allegations have circulated widely across social media platforms, with several users demanding an immediate investigation into the authenticity of the chats and the identities of those participating in the group.
