Patna: The Sangh’s shakha is a unique blessing, where an individual imbibes the values of patriotism and social organisation naturally through games and activities, said RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Alok Kumar while addressing the Patna Mahanagar Ekatrikaran on April 26, 2026. He described it as a school of character building.
Highlighting the importance of Sangh in the present times, he said that in Satyuga, knowledge was the dominant force; in Treta Yuga, mantra shakti; and in Dwapar Yuga, military strength. However, in Kaliyuga, the real strength lies in organisation and collective power. He noted that the method of building organisation has been articulated in the Rigveda, emphasising the need to move together and speak together. The strength of the nation, he said, lies in unity, making social organisation essential.
Referring to the centenary year activities, he informed that more than four crore people have participated in Hindu Sammelans, while over 5,000 Sadbhav Baithaks and more than 5,000 intellectual gatherings have been organised. The Sampark Vibhag has reached out to over 10,000 eminent personalities, including writers, poets, journalists, artists, and public figures.
He further noted that the organisational model of the Sangh is being studied in four universities in the United States, while China has also shown interest by sending experts to understand its methodology of character building.
He added that by the end of the centenary year, particularly around Vijayadashami, efforts are underway to organise shakhas at more than two lakh locations for at least one week, enabling people to experience and understand their significance firsthand.
The programme saw participation from swayamsevaks of all four sub-divisions of Patna Mahanagar. On the dais were Dakshin Bihar Prant Sanghachalak Rajkumar Sinha and Patna Mahanagar Sanghachalak Dr Rajeev Kumar.
