Describing Pakistan as a “cancer in the region”, Afghanistan MLA in exile, Mariam Solaimankhil exclaimed that Islamabad made a business out of terrorism. She also unmasked the fake claims and manipulative statements of Pakistan by exposing that during every cross-border strike, Islamabad reiterates that it killed terrorists. Pakistan has made a business out of terrorism. It just runs fake narratives and manipulative statements in the name of counter-terrorism operations and masks its illicit terror motives, said Mariam Solaimankhil, an Afghan MLA in exile, while speaking to the ANI media platform. Pakistan has been profiting from the “business of terrorism” by creating, nurturing and harbouring terror groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad(JeM) etc., the Afghan MLA further added. However, Islamabad is now yielding and reaping the results of its own seeds, as the terror groups it once nourished has now turned against it(including the Taliban), posing security and existential challenge, Afghan MLA Mariam Solaimankhil reiterated.

Pakistan is the cancer in the region

Afghanistan MLA in exile Mariam Solaimankhil further equated the State of Pakistan and its authorities with the cancer disease and said that they are like the “cancer in the region”. She exposed how Pakistan has long association and is a safe-haven for the most notorious and infamous terror outfits such as Jaish-e-Mohammad(JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT), Al Qaeda etc. The entire world is aware of the fact that notorious and wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind behind 9/11 was sheltered in Pakistan.

Speaking about the recent Pakistani airstrikes targeting Afghanistan, Afghan MLA Mariam Solaimankhil claimed that through its illicit deeds, Pakistan is targeting and killing innocent Afghan civilians, including women and children. As evidence to the fact that Pakistan is a safe harbour for terrorists, earlier Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had asserted that the United States used Pakistan as a fertile ground to nurture, train and support Taliban, said the Afghan MLA.

Pakistan’s fake narratives about counter-terrorism

The Afghanistan MLA Mariam Solaimankhil further unmasked the fake narratives of Pakistan by stating how Islamabad covers up its terror motives under the veil of counter-terrorism operations. It indeed renders safe-haven to terrorists and uses them as a channel to achieve its political or transnational deeds. On the other hand, Pakistan claims that it has killed several terrorists, however, without providing any evidence. Every time, Pakistan carries out an airstrike or ground assault across the borders of Afghanistan, it claims to have killed terrorists and protected territorial integrity, peace and security. But, these claims are completely false as no evidence is provided and no names of the deceased terrorist is released, said Afghan MLA.

“My own paternal village of Barmal, Paktika was attacked and this is not the first time. Every time Pakistan does an airstrike, they claim that they’re killing terrorists. I’ve yet to hear one person’s name that they’ve actually killed. But they do sit with the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed leaders. They had the Quetta Shura and the Miramshah Shura. Now Pakistan is fighting the monster it helped create”, MLA Solaimankhil exclaimed. Thus, Pakistan is only brewing the business of terrorism and aiming to keep the world under silos with fake narratives of counter-terrorism.

Afghan MLA further explained how Pakistan created and is nurturing terrorism as a proxy tool to rule and destabilise the entire region. “They created this proxy and made a business out of terrorism. The foundation of Pakistan as a state is based on destabilising the region. They’re to blame for all of this. The foundation of Pakistan as a state is based on destabilising the region. They’re to blame for all of this. It’s incredibly heartbreaking, but they’re the problem in the area. They’re the cancer in the region”. She also explained how the ethnic minority communities such as the Balochs and the Afghan Pashtuns are bearing the brunt of the Pakistan atrocities.

Afghan MLA Mariam Solaimankhil further stated that Pakistan is going to gain financial benefit as an impact of these cross-border strikes targeting the Afghan spaces. Pakistan escalates strikes under the veil of counter-terrorism operations. With these fake claims Pakistan gains money i.e. financial packages from IMF and other multilateral financial institutions. Under the false shadow of working for counter-terrorism, peace and humanitarian causes, Islamabad makes money from international organisations. In reality, they will be nurturing terror outfits and other acts to destabilise the region, said Afghan MLA exposing the hypocrisy of Pakistan and how it runs a business out of terrorism.

India is strong enough to debunk Islamabad

The Afghan MLA in exile Mariam Solaimankhil, also hailed the capabilities of India to dismantle Islamabad and its illicit terror motives. She infact urged India to take a decisive action against decades of terror atrocities committed by Pakistan. She asserted that India is strong enough to hold Pakistan accountable and expose its hypocrisy on international platforms for sponsoring terrorism or using nuclear arsenal as a blackmail strategy. India has the capacity to impose global sanctions on Pakistan by exposing its misdeeds, Afghan MLA further stated.

“India needs to bring this up on an international platform about how Pakistan is extremely dangerous because they have nuclear weapons. How can a country that harboured Osama bin Laden and created dozens of terrorist organisations and has admitted numerous times that they’ve done all this dirty work still have nuclear weapons? They should be sanctioned; they should be held responsible. They should be denuclearised immediately. And India is strong enough to do that”, said Afghan MLA.
