Washington: US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard sharply scrutinized the Isamist ideology that is rapidly revolutionising across the United States. She echoed that the brewing Islamist ideology in the country is a threat to individual liberty and democratic values. The statements asserted by the US Intelligence Director are rapidly circulated in social media and are inviting sharp debates.

Tulsi Gabbard further differentiated between Islamic faith and Islamism. She quoted Islamism as an exclusive political ideology is swiftly spreading across the United States. Apparently, this political ideology doesn’t align with the principles of the US and is contrary to the founding ethos of the country. Tulsi Gabbard reiterated the political developments spearheading in certain parts of the United States and exclaimed that rigorous efforts are underway to root Islamic principles in the country through legal and political channels.

“Patterson, New Jersey is proud to call themselves the first Muslim city. They are working to implement these Islamic principles forced on people through laws or violence. This is already underway in places like Houston. This is not something that may possibly happen. It is already happening here, within our borders”, asserted Tusli Gabbard while explaining the ground reality in the US. She said that the threat of radical Islamist ideology which is anti-American in ethos is not a probable or foreseeable threat, but it is already taking shape within the borders of the country in a rapid phase.

Tulsi Gabbard further drew differences between religious freedom and political doctrine. She exclaimed that political ideologies and anti-establishments chronicles should not take place under the veil of religious freedom. “The bottom line is this: when we talk about the threat of Islamism, there is no such thing as individual freedom or liberty. It is fundamentally incompatible with our nation’s foundation of freedom”, said the US Intelligence Director. “When we understand that our freedom comes from God and no one else, we understand the seriousness of this Islamist ideology threat”, Tulsi Gabbard further affirmed.

Tulsi Gabbard thus asserted that such extremist ideologies poses a significant threat to the national security. Under the aegis of individual religious freedom the foundational and constitutional principles of the United States cannot be altered. The social, democratic and secular fabric of the US can’t be dismantled and the nation should take a decisive action against any such extremist acts, Tulsi Gabbard made a sharp and an unwavering assertion.
