The delegation subsequently visited Sri Sri Uttar Kamalabari Satra, where they met Satradhikar Prabhu Ishwar Sri Sri Janardan Dev Goswami and exchanged views on various matters.

Following their visits to both Satras and interactions with the Satradhikars, devotees and Vaishnavas, Hosabale ji said that he had gained valuable insights into Majuli’s art, culture, geographical setting and demographic composition.

The delegation also visited Bahpara Namghar in the Mising tribal area, where an Akhand Bhagavata Path programme was being organised. Hosabale ji listened to the recitation of the Bhagavata and paid his respects at the gathering.

He expressed his appreciation for the efforts being made to preserve the art, culture and traditions of the region’s spiritual teachers through religious programmes of this nature in the ‘mishing janjati region’. He also conveyed his reverence to those working to sustain these cultural and spiritual traditions.

After completing the day’s engagements, the delegation departed from Majuli in the afternoon via the Afolamukh Ghat.

During the visit, Kanuram Deka, Uttar Assam Prant Sah Vyavastha Pramukh, along with other RSS functionaries, accompanied the visiting Akhil Bharatiya office-bearers.
The visit highlighted the importance of engaging with Assam’s traditional religious institutions and understanding the region’s distinctive cultural heritage, community traditions and spiritual practices.
