CJP Protest in Delhi | From Street Riots to Fake Videos: How Cockroach Party used violence and lies to undermine Bharat

Under the guise of youth advocacy, the Cockroach Janta Party(CJP) has morphed into an organised campaign of urban unrest designed to undermine law and order. Behind its polished social media presence, lies a strategy of street-level intimidation, destruction of public property and stage-managed victimhood aimed at delegitimising national institutions

What is being branded as the Cockroach Janta Party(CJP)-an unregistered fringe movement created by Gen Z strategist Abhijeet Dipke-is far from a benign student initiative. Under the pretense of protesting controversial remarks attributed to the Chief Justice, the CJP has evolved into an aggressive anti-establishment campaign targeting key democratic institutions and demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

This movement operates through a harmful cycle of “destroy and deny” politics:

Destroying public order

Under the banner of “youth grievances,” CJP-led demonstrations have repeatedly escalated from political grandstanding into lawlessness. Recent marches toward Parliament deteriorated into violent confrontations with security forces, marked by broken barricades, stone-pelting, and deliberate damage to public property. State officials and commentators point out that these disruptions are not accidental; they represent an orchestrated attempt to paralyze the capital, undermine the rule of law, and subvert democratic processes through street-level intimidation.

Denying political backing

While CJP leaders claim to represent an “organic, non-partisan” movement concerned purely with educational reforms, their actions reveal a clear political alignment. The movement actively enjoys mainstream backing from opposition forces, including the Congress Party, who exploit youth frustration for political leverage. By denying these partisanship ties, the CJP hides behind a facade of grassroots activism while advancing a destructive agenda that prioritises lawlessness and institutional erosion over constructive civic participation.

This report exposes how organised agitators hijack student movements to orchestrate violence and destroy public property under the guise of democratic protest. By weaponising civil unrest and stage-managing online narratives, these fringe mobs seek to undermine law, order and national stability.

What is unfolding in street-level movements like the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is not standard democratic dissent; it represents a calculated information warfare campaign designed to gaslight the public and delegitimise law enforcement.

The tactic follows a familiar playbook-one refined by extremist networks globally, including groups like Hamas: manufacture street chaos, destroy public infrastructure and then instantly stage-manage victimhood for the cameras.

Step 1: Tactical destruction under the cover of “protest”

The operation begins with deliberate provocation. Under the guise of student grievance, agitators orchestrate marches toward high-security zones like Parliament, intentionally forcing confrontations with law enforcement. Police barricades are breached, stones are pelted, and public property is vandalized. The primary objective of these clashes is not policy dialogue; it is to create visual mayhem and push security forces into using necessary force to restore public order.

Step 2: The stage-managed “victim narrative”

The moment law enforcement moves in to prevent widespread rioting, the secondary digital strategy kicks into gear. Organisers and “chronically online” activists immediately flood social media platforms with selective, heavily edited short-form videos and AI-crafted graphics.

By cropping out the prior violence-the stone-pelting, property destruction, and boundary breaches-they present police intervention as unprovoked “state brutality”. Broken barricades and damaged infrastructure are falsely framed as evidence of police overreach rather than student lawlessness.

Step 3: Weaponised public sympathy

This “destroy-and-frame” dynamic is designed to bypass factual scrutiny. By churning out outrage-inducing content in real time, digital strategists manipulate emotionally charged audiences into believing that lawbreakers are peaceful victims.

This is no longer genuine activism-it is subversive public relations. By prioritizing performative destruction over constructive civil engagement, such movements seek to undermine public trust in national security apparatuses, weaken democratic norms, and replace the rule of law with outrage-driven social media optics.

This is the same Hamas-style playbook. First, they destroy public property. Then they make fake reels claiming it was already , all to manufacture a false narrative. pic.twitter.com/W855ysGZ9I

Caught in the Act: How CJP’s manufactured victimhood lies are exposed

The digital warfare deployed by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) relies heavily on shameless social media deception, but their staged narratives are unravelling under basic public scrutiny.

In a coordinated attempt to evade accountability, CJP agitators repeatedly post pre-scripted videos claiming that damaged vehicles and broken barricades were “brought in by the police” to frame innocent students. However, this conspiracy narrative collapses the moment unedited footage emerges-showing the exact same CJP rioters caught red-handed smashing those cars, breaching security zones and destroying public property themselves.

A similar pattern of denial plays out over police confrontations. Protesters quickly rush to publish videos asserting that “no stones were thrown by the crowd” and falsely accusing security forces of bringing ammunition to attack them.

Yet, full-length, unedited camera feeds consistently expose these claims as blatant propaganda, capturing CJP mobs actively stockpiling and hurling stones at law enforcement personnel. Their entire strategy hinges on fabricating a victimhood narrative for online optics, but the hard evidence continues to unmask their deliberate tactics to mislead the nation and shield political agitators from the law.

Ultimately, the phenomenon of the Cockroach Janta Party is a stark warning of how street violence and digital deception can be merged to destabilise democratic order. What claims to be an organic youth movement is a stage-managed campaign of lawlessness that weaponises public infrastructure damage for social media optics, relies on blatant lies to claim victimhood and operates as a convenient proxy for opposition politics.

In a robust constitutional democracy, genuine grievances must be addressed through dialogue and democratic channels-not through street-level intimidation, stone-pelting and co-ordinated misinformation campaigns. The swift exposure of CJP’s deceptive tactics reinforces a fundamental truth: no political motive or online narrative can justify the destruction of public property or the erosion of national stability. It is time for law enforcement and responsible citizens alike to see past the manufactured outrage, uphold the rule of law and protect the nation’s institutions from bad-faith agitators.
