Vandaniya Pramukh Sanchalika Ma. Shanta Kumari Ji, Pramukh Karyavahika Sita Gayatri Ji
Samalkha (Haryana): The first half-yearly meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini and Pratinidhi Mandal of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti concluded today at Samalkha, Haryana. The meeting was attended by Vandaniya Pramukh Sanchalika Ma. Shanta Kumari Ji, Pramukh Karyavahika Sita Gayatri Ji, and 488 representatives from 40 Prants.
During the meeting, a review was undertaken of the Samiti’s activities carried out at various levels from February 2026 till date. During the past six months, there has been an increase in the number of work-active districts as well as in the number of Shakhas and Milans. At present, the Samiti is functioning through 4,886 Shakhas and 1,173 Milans across 852 districts.
The meeting also discussed the various initiatives being undertaken for the expansion of organisational work on the occasion of the completion of 90 years of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti. Along with this, deliberations were held on the present social scenario and the issues concerning women and youth, as well as their possible solutions.
On the final day of the meeting, a discussion was held on the causes and consequences of demographic imbalance. Expressing serious concern over the issue, a resolution was unanimously adopted urging the Union and State Governments to implement a Uniform National Population Policy and the Uniform Civil Code for all communities.
Guiding the concluding session of the three-day meeting, Vandaniya Pramukh Sanchalika Ma. Shanta Kumari Ji said that the sacred land of Kurukshetra conveys the message of overcoming one’s inner conflicts and taking a firm resolve for the welfare of society with a steady mind. Drawing inspiration from this land, which signifies complete dedication for the establishment of Dharma, she said that all must take a firm resolve for the qualitative expansion of organisational work. At the same time, every Karyakarta must shape her personality and make herself worthy of the work entrusted to her. Having completed 90 years of its journey and moving towards its centenary, the Rashtra Sevika Samiti must continue to advance steadily and resolutely towards its cherished goal.
