VARANASI: Akhil Bharatiya Kutumb Prabodhan Sanyojak of RSS, Ravindra Joshi, while inaugurating the first session of the Ram Lalla Gat meeting of Purvi Uttar Pradesh Kshetra Kutumb Prabodhan at the auditorium of Mumukshu Bhawan, said that Human birth is extremely rare. Various writers in different literature have described its importance. Therefore, an individual should understand the greatness of human birth and should not let even a single moment go waste.

He said that despite years of struggles, Bharatiya culture has remained protected because of the parivar vyavastha (family values). The feeling of devotion and responsibility towards society and the nation is first taught in the school of the family itself.

Discussing the present family system, Ravindra Joshi said that there are hundreds of objects available in homes that have reduced physical labour, but creating a devotional and positive atmosphere within the household is the responsibility of all of us. In the past few years, several conspiracies have been carried out to destroy the Bharatiya family system. The decision of a boy and a girl to live together without marriage based on mutual consent is weakening and fragmenting family structure.

He said that eight qualities are essential for further strengthening the family system. These eight qualities are strength, character, vigour, patience, strategy, intellect, vision, and efficiency. He said that six vices, fear, selfishness, ego, laziness, wrong social beliefs, and intellectual rigidity must be kept away from the family.

He said that 99 per cent of people on this earth will find happiness through marriage. However, for this, qualities of tolerance, understanding, and coordination are necessary. Among the five changes being discussed during the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the remaining four changes cannot be completed without Kutumb Prabodhan.

Presiding over the programme, Kailash Math Mahamandaleshwar Pujya Swami Ashutoshanand Giri Ji Maharaj said that 1200 years ago, a child born in the village of Kaladi in Kerala travelled to Omkareshwar to receive education from his Guru and thereafter bowed before Mata Annapurna in Kashi. This incident reflects the entire Bharat as one family. Swami Ji said that the Varna system in Bharat was actually a classification of social duties.

He said that, in reality, all human beings should worship Bhagwan Shiv, devote themselves to Bhagwan Narayan, and serve society. Referring to Sant Kabir, he said that God resides in everyone’s heart, and there is only a need to recognise Him. Ancient Bharatiya society gave importance to duties and actions.

Kashi Prant Sanghchalak Angraj Ji and Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Sanyojak Mansukh Bhai Sethia were also present on the dais. At the beginning of the programme, the guests lit the ceremonial lamp and offered floral tributes before the portrait of Bharat Mata.
