On January 11, 2025, Ayodhya will become the center of a monumental celebration as devotees from across Bharat gather to mark the first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of the Shri Ram Lalla Vigraha at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. This momentous occasion, known as Pratishtha Dwadashi, promises to be a day filled with an array of sacred rituals, devotional recitations, cultural performances, and spiritual discourses, all aimed at honoring the divine presence of Bhagwan Ram.

Organised by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the celebrations will take place within the Mandir complex, a site of immense significance in Hindu history and spirituality. The day will be marked by an exciting lineup of events, combining the ancient traditions of Vedic rituals with contemporary devotional practices, providing a unique blend of spirituality and culture that will captivate all who attend.

The first anniversary of the Prana Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla Vigraha at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya will be celebrated on January 11, 2025. This occasion will be known as "Pratishtha Dwadashi," and shall feature the following programs:

The festivities will begin at the crack of dawn with a series of profound spiritual ceremonies at the Yajna Mandap, a dedicated area within the Mandir grounds. The first major event will be the performance of the Agnihotra ceremony from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a second round from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This ancient Vedic ritual, performed with mantras from the Shukla Yajurveda, is known for its purifying and spiritual properties. The ceremony will not only cleanse the surroundings but also help create a spiritually uplifting environment for the day’s events.

A defining feature of this year’s Pratishtha Dwadashi will be the recitation of six lakh Shri Ram Mantras—a colossal collective effort to invoke Bhagwan Ram’s blessings. As the mantras echo through the Mandir complex, the air will be charged with devotion, and the hearts of devotees will unite in prayer.

In addition to the Agnihotra, sacred texts such as the Ram Raksha Stotra and Hanuman Chalisa will be recited throughout the day. These sacred hymns and chants, chanted by devotees in unison, will further enhance the sanctity of the occasion, creating an atmosphere of divine harmony and shared devotion.

From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the Mandir’s ground floor will host the enchanting performance of Raga Seva—a classical music concert that will showcase devotional ragas, resonating with the themes of devotion and spirituality. The ragas, performed by accomplished musicians, will fill the Mandir premises with soul-stirring melodies that pay homage to Bhagwan Ram’s divine presence.

Following this, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Mandir will resonate with the vibrant notes of Badhai Gaan, a joyous musical performance celebrating the consecration of the Shri Ram Lalla Vigraha. This festive musical program will be a jubilant tribute to Bhagwan Ram, infusing the atmosphere with an energy of celebration and collective reverence.

On the first floor of the Yatri Suvidha Kendra, the focus will shift to a musical recitation of the Ramcharitmanas. This melodious retelling of the epic story of Bhagwan Ram’s life will captivate audiences with its lyrical beauty and deep spiritual insights. The recitation will offer devotees a chance to immerse themselves in the life and virtues of Bhagwan Ram in an entirely new way, through the fusion of music and spirituality.

At the iconic Angad Teela within the Mandir complex, an entire afternoon and evening will be devoted to spiritual discourses and the recitation of the Ram Katha. From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, the Ram Katha, a profound narrative of Bhagwan Ram’s life, will unfold before the audience. This sacred storytelling tradition will recount the divine journey of Bhagwan Ram, his struggles, virtues, and victories, offering valuable lessons of morality and devotion.

From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, scholars will engage in discourses on the Ramcharitmanas, where they will analyse and interpret the deeper meanings and teachings embedded in the sacred text. These insightful discussions will provide devotees with a richer understanding of the Ramayana’s spiritual significance.

As evening sets in, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, cultural performances will take center stage at Angad Teela. Traditional dances and artistic presentations will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Bharat, adding a colorful and dynamic dimension to the spiritual proceedings. These performances will not only honor Bhagwan Ram but also highlight the artistic expressions that have been inspired by his story for generations.

From the early hours of the morning, Shri Ram’s Prasad will be distributed to all the devotees visiting the Mandir. The prasad, considered a divine blessing, will be offered throughout the day as a symbol of Bhagwan Ram’s grace. Devotees from all walks of life will be invited to partake in this sacred offering, allowing them to receive the blessings of Bhagwan Ram and deepen their connection with the divine.

The first anniversary of the Prana Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla Vigraha will be a day of immense significance, filled with an extraordinary blend of sacred rituals, cultural richness, and spiritual reflection. The Pratishtha Dwadashi celebrations on January 11, 2025, will offer a chance for devotees to come together in devotion and unity, honoring Bhagwan Ram’s divine presence and the historic consecration of his murti at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
