The prominent office bearers of the Sanatan Sant Samiti, Lucknow Mandal, held a significant meeting today with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Led by the President of the Samiti, Senior Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yatindranand Giri Ji Maharaj of Juna Akhara, the delegation included several distinguished pandits from various Akharas.
Among those who attended were Mahamandaleshwar Swami Abhyanand Saraswati of Mahanirvani Akhara, Mahamandaleshwar Shri Vidya Chetan Ji Maharaj of Juna Akhara, Shri Mahant Dharmendra Das of Bada Akhara Udasin, Swami Kameshwar Puri, Swami Bhaskar Anand Saraswati, and Shri Mahant Ramsevak Das.
According to Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yatindranand Giri Ji Maharaj, the meeting, though informal, was centered around a meaningful discussion on Sanatan Hindu culture and traditions. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the pivotal role that pandits will play in shaping the future social structure. He described Sanatan Hindu culture as the “best in the world,” noting that it is deeply grounded in human thought and values.
The Chief Minister further revealed plans for special contemplation sessions for pandits to be held at the upcoming Prayagraj Kumbh, where important cultural and spiritual topics will be deliberated upon. The hour-long meeting covered a range of issues concerning the promotion of Sanatan Hindu culture and its relevance in modern society.
At the conclusion of the discussions, CM Yogi Adityanath honoured all the pandits by presenting them with traditional shawls and coconuts, expressing his deep respect and appreciation for their role in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Sanatan Dharma.
