The development was facilitated through the efforts of Hindu Seva Kendram and Adivasi Samrakshana Samithi, according to information shared about the programme. The organisations described the Ghar Wapsi as a voluntary decision by the participants to reconnect with their ancestral traditions and Sanatana heritage.

A voluntary journey back to roots

The Ghar Wapsi has been described as a deeply personal decision by the 512 individuals. According to the organisers, the participants made the decision without force, inducement or compulsion, choosing instead to return to Sanatana Dharma out of their own conviction. For the participants, the Ghar Wapsi is being portrayed as more than a formal change in religious identity. It represents a renewed connection with ancestral traditions, cultural practices and a spiritual heritage that they believe has remained an important part of their roots.

Supporters of the initiative have described the development as an expression of individual choice and a reaffirmation of Sanatana Dharma.

Hindu Seva Kendram and Adivasi Samrakshana Samithi

Hindu Seva Kendram and Adivasi Samrakshana Samithi were involved in facilitating the Ghar Wapsi, according to the information shared about the programme. The organisations have been associated with community-oriented activities and efforts aimed at supporting cultural and social connections among sections of society. Their involvement in the Ghar Wapsi provided support to those who had decided to reconnect with Sanatana Dharma and their ancestral traditions.

Sanatana Dharma encompasses a broad range of spiritual traditions, customs, philosophical schools and cultural practices that have evolved over centuries. For those participating in the Ghar Wapsi, reconnecting with this heritage is being viewed as a way of strengthening their relationship with their ancestral traditions. The organisers and supporters have emphasised that the decision was made voluntarily, presenting the event as a personal journey rather than one driven by external pressure. The reported development has consequently been welcomed by supporters as an example of individuals choosing to reconnect with their perceived ancestral identity and traditions.

The homecoming marks what supporters describe as the beginning of a new chapter for the 512 individuals and their families. They are being welcomed back into Sanatana Dharma with prayers and blessings for strength, faith and prosperity. Maa Kali was also invoked for the well-being of those undertaking this journey, with wishes that they continue their lives with confidence while remaining connected to their cultural and spiritual heritage. The reported homecoming in Keralam thus represents, for its supporters, a reaffirmation of ancestral roots and a voluntary choice to embrace Sanatana Dharma.
