The Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak (coordination meeting) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will start in Ahalya Campus, Palakkad, Kerala on August 31- September 2. Ahalya is an education heritage campus. The three-day meeting is organised to discuss various social issues, from social harmony to national security, revolving around five main objectives. These are namely; an environment-friendly lifestyle, a life-value-based family system, an insistence on harmony, Swadeshi conduct, and performance of civic duties.

Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar shared the details about the samanvay baithak on August 30, during a press conference he informed that 320 dignitaries, 230 from RSS inspired organisations and 90 national level office bearers of RSS from 32 organisations, representing their national office bearers including president and organising Secretaries working across the country will participate in the baithak. This is the first time Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak is being conducted in Kerala.

“The organisations participating have long history spanning 50-75 years. They have a significant public presence and are actively engaged in social transformation within the democratic setup. They play a vital role in the development of the country, often involving students, labourers, tribal communities, and others in their specific areas of focus. Each organisation is committed to its respective field. Initially, these organisations may have taken some karyakartas from the RSS, but over the years, they have developed their own systems. Every year, formal coordination takes place, reflecting the working style and coordination system between the RSS and RSS-inspired organisations”, Sunil Ammbekar said while addressing the media.

Further sharing the agenda of the baithak, he said “each organisation will share its field experiences and will discusses the issues they have taken up, their achievements, struggles, and observations. Important issues of national interest, national security, social issues, current events, state-specific matters, or alarming incidents in different states, will also be discussed”.
“In this baithak, we will explore ways to enhance coordination, develop more systems—both formal and informal—and strengthen ourselves to better address issues of national importance. This baithak provides a platform for exchanging thoughts and experiences, learning from each other, and developing processes and systems for improved coordination”, he said.

During the three-day baithak, there will be both group sessions and common sessions. The RSS Sarsanghchalak, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabole, and all six Sah Sarkaryavahs—Dr Krishna Gopal, CR Mukunda, Arun Kumar, Ram Dutt, Alok Kumar, and Atul Kumar will be present. Incharges of various karya vibhag (departments) will also participate.
To mark the significant milestone of RSS 100 years, it has proposed taking social transformation activities to the mass level. Five key initiatives, known as Panch Parivartan that will take place from Vijayadashami 2025 to Vijayadashami 2026, in which all inspired organisations will participate.
These initiatives include:

Social Harmony (Samajik Samrasta): Promoting social harmony by involving various organisations in social initiatives.
Family Awakening (Kutumbh Prabodhan): Strengthening families, especially in urban areas and modern times, to contribute to nation-building and social transformation.
Environmental Issues: Addressing environmental concerns by promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle through social participation.
Selfhood (Swa): Ensuring that our systems, language, and lifestyle reflect selfhood and decolonisation.
Civic Duties: As we celebrate the 75th year of independence, it is essential to emphasise not only our rights but also our civic duties. This will involve engaging various sections of society in understanding and fulfilling their responsibilities.

These five initiatives will be launched at the mass level during the centenary year in 2025, said Sunil Ambekar.
Additionally, violence against Hindus in Bangladesh will also be discussed. The baithak will conclude on September 2.
Representatives of Sewa Bharti, Vidya Bharti, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Saksham, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Seva Bharti, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Bharatiya Janata Party, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and other inspired organisations will participate in the meeting.
These 32 organisations are divided into 6 functional groups (Six Samuh) – Shiksha (Education), Suraksha (National Security), Arthik (Economic), Jan Sanghatan (Mass Organisations), Sewa (Social Service), Vaicharik (Intellectual Activities)
The meeting is organised every year, last year it was organised in Pune.
