In yet another case of fake trap a Hindu woman was left cheated by a Muslim man. Afzal Siddiqui made physical relationship with a Hindu woman on the pretext of marriage and later blackmailed her using the video clips for conversion. The case has come to light in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

As per the reports, Siddiqui befriended a Hindu woman, deceiving her with false claims of ‘love’ and fraudulent promises of marriage. He went to the extent of recording explicit videos of the victim, which he later used as leverage for blackmail. Additionally, when the victim became pregnant, he compelled her to have an abortion and resorted to physical abuse when she resisted. Currently based in Dubai, he is now coercing the woman to convert to Islam.

Reportedly, he threatened the victim, asserting that he would disseminate the explicit videos on popular social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook if she dared to defy him. These threats continue to reach the victim from both Dubai and Bahrain. The Gomatinagar Police have registered a case against Siddiqui and his family based on the victim’s complaint.

Almost two years ago, she encountered Siddiqui, a resident of Ujariyaon Village, at Janeshwar Mishra Park. He insinuated himself into her life, feigning romantic affection. Subsequently, he took her to his residence and various hotels on multiple occasions, engaging in intimate relations. This ultimately led to the victim’s pregnancy.

The victim has accused Siddiqui and his sister-in-law of orchestrating the abortion following an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy. She was subjected to physical violence when she resisted their actions. Siddiqui relocated to Dubai in June and is now coercing the victim to convert to Islam from afar.

When the victim voiced her opposition, the accused, along with his relatives Imran Khan, Ishaan, and others residing in Bahrain, threatened to disseminate the explicit video on Instagram and Facebook. They have also been sending explicit videos to the victim’s mobile. Recently, when the victim visited the accused’s residence to protest, she was subjected to severe physical assault by his family members.

Inspector Deepak Pandey of Gomatinagar stated that a case has been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway.
