On May 30, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached San Francisco for a three-city tour of America, where he spoke with activists and academicians at the University of California.

Rahul Gandhi also addressed the Indian community in San Francisco. During his address, some Khalistani extremists raised anti-India slogans due to which he had to stop his speech for some time.

During his speech miscreants started chanting ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ and many other pro-Khalistani slogans. Though all the slogans raised were not clearly heard in the video, but a man can be heard saying ‘Indira Gandhi…’.

Earlier in 2018, a group of three managed to enter the then Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s event in London and raised slogans like “Khalistan Zindabad”.

Rahul will address a press conference in Washington and hold meetings with lawmakers and people associated with institutions. He is scheduled to end his tour with a public event in New York on June 4. The interaction would take place at the Javits Center in New York.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also alleged that the Central Government is “misusing” the country’s agencies and “threatening” the people. He accused the BJP of using Sengol to distract people from issues such as unemployment and inflation. The Gandhi scion made the comments while addressing a gathering of the Indian diaspora in California.

During his tour, Rahul Gandhi will also address a press conference and have meetings with lawmakers and think tanks in Washington DC.

The Congress leader is also likely to address Indian Americans and interact with Wall Street executives and university students during his week-long tour of the USA.
