Amid the ongoing debate over the systematic persecution of Hindu girls by Muslim youths under love Jihad, this well-hatched crime conspiracy against Hindu women seems not to be stopping at all. In the latest incident, another Hindu girl from Bareilly has fallen prey to the misdeed of Love Jihad.

The victim has been identified as Dhan Devi, a resident of the Nayi Basti area which falls under the Deoraniyan police station of Bareilly. She used to take computer classes in Rajendra Nagar where one Mohammad Aalim was also enrolled. Aalim, a resident of Jadavpur had introduced himself as a Hindu youth Anand, he also used to tie Kalawa in his hands.

As per the complaint letter accessed by Organiser, the victim woman assuming Aalim is a Hindu, continued her friendship with him. On the pretext of marriage, he made a physical relationship with her. Then Aalim recorded the intimate moments of him with Devi and later started blackmailing her. He even threatened her to put up her video on the internet if she refuses to make a physical relationship with him.

Copy of the complaint letter, obtained by Organiser

In March this year when the victim girl became pregnant, he informed the accused Aalim about that, though Aalim again took her to Rajrani Hotel and forced her to have physical relations with him. Growing suspicious about his activities the victim Devi shortly visited the accused house in Jadavpur where she got to know about the real identity of the accused Aalim.

As per the victim’s complaint filed in the Deoraniya police station Aalim and his family members including his father Sabir, brother Wajid and Nazim and sister Shifa also suggest the victim to abort the infant and marry the accused after converting to Islam. However, when the victim girl did not agree to convert she was abused and thrown out of the accused house.

On May 05 the accused Aalim provided Devi with an abortion kit and sent her home, though after taking the pill Devi’s health deteriorated following which the accused asked Devi to come to his place again. When Devi reached Aalim’s house she was sent with the accused to get an abortion in a private clinic in Hafeez Ganj on May 11.

After aborting the child the victim was also threatened by the accused and his family with dire consequences. They said if she ever chooses to speak about the incident to anyone they will not spare her alive. However, after a couple of weeks the victim Devi mustered some courage and registered a complaint against the accused in Deoraniya police station of Baraliey on May 29.

Organiser spoke to the station in charge Deoraniya police station, who confirmed that as of now the accused Aalim has not been arrested.

It is to be noted that the UP government in the year 2020 enacted ‘Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Ordinance, 2020’, against the growing cases of illegal conversion, however despite that the government enacted a strong anti-conversion law, the cases pertaining to Love Jihad have been coming to fore on a regular basis.

Organiser reported another case of Love Jihad from Uttar Pradesh, an unconscious Hindu woman was admitted to a hospital by Naved and his associate in Shahjahanpur medical college on, May 27 and was declared dead by the doctors. The victim’s family says, their daughter has become a victim of love Jihad.

The victim girl was identified as Seema Gautam, a resident of Lakheempurkhiri, she has been in a relationship with Naved for some time. As per the statement of the victim’s brother, the accused Naved had lured Seema with a fake Hindu identity and his friends also recorded her objectionable video.

‘Naved had been blackmailing and pressurizing Seema to convert and embrace Islam and when She got to know about his real identity and informed her family about the accused, Naved killed her by poisoning, the alleged victim’s brother.
