Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The ‘Sangh Anubhavshala’, an experience centre showcasing the century-long journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), was inaugurated by Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat at the Sudarshan Bhawan premises in Indore on September 19, 2026.

Designed as an exhibition of international standards, the centre presents the RSS’s journey, ideas, organisational methodology and various dimensions of social service through artefacts, digital content and modern multimedia technology.

The centre has been conceived not merely as an exhibition but as an “experience centre”, enabling visitors to understand the Sangh beyond books and written accounts by experiencing its journey, work and atmosphere.

Drishti, the lead curator of the centre, described the initiative as an experience centre that seeks to present the essence of the Sangh’s hundred-year journey through various artefacts and displays.
The exhibition attempts to bring alive the stories of countless swayamsevaks and workers who devoted themselves to the organisation and society with dedication and perseverance.

The experience centre traces the journey of the Sangh from its foundation to its expansion and its various social initiatives. It presents different facets of the organisation through videos, digital displays and multimedia presentations, making the exhibition accessible and engaging for visitors.

A key focus of the exhibition is the Sangh’s vision of ‘Panch Parivartan’, covering social harmony, family awakening, environmental protection, promotion of a Swadeshi lifestyle and the fulfilment of civic duties.

The exhibition is based on the theme ‘Ek Vichar, Ek Yatra—Rashtra Pratham’, highlighting the journey of an organisation that completes 100 years of its existence in 2025 and its continuing work across different spheres of society.

After the inauguration, Dr Mohan Bhagwat visited the exhibition and described it as an exhibition that “fills an ocean in a pitcher”, underlining the effort to capture the vast journey of the Sangh within a limited physical space.

The experience centre seeks to offer visitors a glimpse into not only the major milestones of the Sangh’s history but also the lives, dedication, struggles and service of the countless individuals associated with its journey.

The ‘Sangh Anubhavshala’ will be opened free of cost to the general public from September 27. It will remain open daily from 9 am to 8 pm, allowing visitors to experience the exhibition and explore the different facets of the RSS’s hundred-year journey.
