When you visit the Cockroach Janata Party’s protest site at Jantar Mantar, just to watch how exactly the ‘cockroaches’ are playing the cards against the Modi government in the name of fake narratives, you could notice a pattern — a pattern where the well-fed, smartphone-wielding agitators operate more like a professionally managed campaign than spontaneous student anger.
The so called ‘students ‘who were already exposed as the people of ‘Bharat Tere Tukde’ naare from JNU, those to restore article 370 restoration in Kashmir, Umar Khalid, Sharjil Immam followers and the Deep state fund getters in the field and politics like Shabna Azmi, Prakash Raj, Nasiruddin Shah, Aravind Kejriwal and the old AAP gangs in Delhi and outside who have walked in shoulders with Abhijeet Dipke
Chai, Pakodas to Biryani: An Extensive Food Spread
What is particularly striking is the round-the-clock food supply at the protest site. Regardless of how many people arrive at any given time, food is readily available. Protesters are consistently provided with meals, snacks and refreshments, either through deliveries from Swiggy and Zomato or via direct on-site distribution.
Chai-pakoda arrives sharp at breakfast to kickstart the day at 8 am. Packed lunches follow after 12 pm. Burgers and pizzas keep the energy high during peak social media hours to ‘fight’ against the system and the police. Biriyani dinners seal the night under comfortable arrangements. This isn’t the struggle of hungry youth fighting exam leaks. This is a catered dharna designed for optics, live streams, and narrative warfare against a government delivering reforms and national progress.
The script is familiar: amplify grievances, demand resignations, project victimhood, and distract from real achievements under PM Modi — from expanding education access to NEET improvements and Atmanirbhar initiatives. Yes, one more point: Block the Monsoon Session of the Indian Parliament which has the FCRA Amendment Bill, 2026 on the government’s legislative agenda.
A young participant from Kerala validated the quality of the food served at the protest site based on his experience over the past five days. He said the meals were of a noticeably high standard, adding that he had not encountered food of similar quality at other protests in India.
“Feed Any Student at Jantar Mantar” — The Foreign-Funded Food Pipeline
There are reports that from the first day onwards, food delivery platforms were delivering food to Jantar Mantar which were ordered by those living outside the country. Among them Qatar, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, US and Canada top the most. with thousands of rupees worth of meals being booked daily from overseas for direct delivery to the protest site.
The instructions were clear: “Deliver to any student at Jantar Mantar. Feed the protesters.” Domestic orders from Mumbai or Kolkata were one thing. But international ones? From countries halfway across the globe?
Foreign accounts were subsidizing the protest kitchens. Was this harmless diaspora support, or something more calculated? Food delivery apps algorithms didn’t distinguish between a family dinner in Gurgaon and a strategic meal drop at a politically charged site. “Any protester,” the delivery instructions read. “No questions asked.”
Over the last two days, nearly 2,000 food orders were reportedly fulfilled, including large quantities of samosas, pizzas, meal platters, bananas, water, and juices.

Reports from the protest site says that 16 Pizzas were ordered from Dubai on Wednesday. The other Deliveries include pizzas, samosas, burgers, fruits, meal platters, bottled water, and juices. One delivery partner claimed he was making 8 to 10 trips a day to Jantar Mantar using both bikes and vans. He specifically alleged that a single order for 16 pizzas had been placed from Dubai for the protesters.
So, the menu is top notch that features high-end items. We were able to see the trays of flavored milk, sandwiches, Coca-Cola, and biryani easily available for distribution. Since the food comes from outside vendors rather than a community kitchen set up on-site,
Broader picture – The Money Math: How Much Per Protester?
A realistic per-head daily cost breaks down roughly as follows (bulk rates in Delhi)
- Chai + pakoda: ₹30–50
- Packed lunch: ₹80–150
- Snacks: ₹50–100
- Biryani-style dinner + water: ₹150–250
- Misc (disposables, basic medical, transport): ₹50+
- Total per protester per day: ₹300–600.
For a core group of 300 to 600 people, the food bill alone would range from ₹90,000 to ₹1.8 lakh per day. Once additional expenses such as tents, generators, sanitation, logistics and security are factored in, the total daily operational cost could easily rise to ₹3–5 lakh.
However, the protest’s official social media accounts claim a daily turnout of 8,000 to 10,000 people, a visual assessment places the crowd closer to 2,000–3,000 attendees. Taking the higher estimate of 3,000 people and a minimum cost of ₹300 per-person daily food cost, the food bill alone works out to approximately ₹9,00,000 (₹9 lakh) every single day, excluding other operational expenses which is of ₹3–5 lakh (minimum taken).
Another notable sight at the protest site is the daily distribution of biryani by a particular religious group. They have effectively become the ‘gods’ of the protestors — providing hot Chicken/Mutton Biriyani in bulk while the young participants appear largely unaware of the deeper game.
Most of these youngsters seem uninterested in objectively analysing the country’s politics or current affairs. Instead, they are swept along by social media trends, joining the protest without a clear understanding of its actual purpose or end goal.
A majority of these students neither pursue studies nor know basic facts — such as who the education minister is or what NEET actually stands for.

Who is Funding?
CJP protests at Jantar Mantar is being accused of sponsored by external forces, pointing to the movement’s primary focus on NEET exam leaks and demands for the Education Minister’s resignation as a cover for a larger conspiracy to destabilise the government. Some CJP spokespersons have direct or indirect links to these ecosystems. A Public Interest Litigation filed in the Delhi High Court has backed these concerns, seeking an NIA probe into foreign funding, political manipulation, and threats to national security.
The protesters and the supporters along with media often downplay the claims as unverified, the scale and coordination of the protests have raised serious questions about who is truly backing the so-called youth agitation. Senior BJP voices have repeatedly highlighted suspected links to global players like George Soros and “Deep State” networks, with social media and public commentary amplifying these connections.
The pending PIL in the Delhi High Court is seen by many as a crucial step toward exposing the real forces operating behind the CJP movement.The most alarming development came when the banned Khalistani outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and its chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun openly announced $1 million in support for CJP, claiming a Zoom meeting with its leaders and pushing the protests to continue until August 15 with disruptive intentions.
“The foreign forces that are active against India—including Khalistani groups, Bangladesh Islamic Party forces, Pakistan-based forces, and groups associated with the Soros Foundation—are already operating in the country,” BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said in the Parliament complex.
“The same forces and lobbies that were involved in religious conversions, and whose activities were restricted after the FCRA [Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act] was closed by Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister, are now trying to turn this into an issue,” he added.
