NEW DELHI: A few days ago, social media and instagram were buzzing with the launch of the Cockroach Janata Party which is allegedly considered to be the ‘B’ team of the Aam Aadmi Party. Within a few hours of the launch of CJP, the party was supposedly on cloud nine assuming that it would bring about a revolution in Bharat by channelising the energy of Gen Z as it had millions of followers on social media.
Buoyant by the success of the number of followers, the founder of CJP Abhijeet Dipke decided to return to Bharat and launch a protest against the incumbent Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan owing to the recent NEET exam paper leaks. The objective of the CJP protest was to incite the Gen Z and create anarchy in Delhi and play the victim card when the police takes any action.
Know what was CJP’s plan
Before we unravel the mystery as to how Union Home Minister Amit Shah outsmarted CJP’s Abhijeet Dipke, it is important to mention that any party or individual has got full right to think that they are good and smart but wrong to undermine your opponent, more so when you have Amit Shah at the helm of things.
The first punch which Abhijeet got was at the airport when the Delhi Police granted him permission to hold the protest at Jantar Mantar and asked him to directly proceed to site of the demonstration, rather than going to the Parliament Street police station.
Now let us delve into what CJP had planned and how Amit Shah and Delhi police derailed it. According to reports which the intelligence had, protest was as such not to take place at Jantar Mantar but at Parliament Street Police Station. Reportedly the ‘andolanjivs’ comprising allegedly members of SFI, banned terrorist group PFI, AISA so on and so forth were asked to assemble at Parliament Street police station at 9:00 a.m. It is here that the CJP would ask the Delhi Police to issue them a ‘No Objection Certificate’ to hold the protest. CJP and its enlightened founders and members had presumed that Delhi Police would refuse the ‘NOC’ for the protest as it is not issued on the spot.
Once the Delhi Police would refuse the NOC, the CJP and the andolanjivs would express their anger by agitating, turning violent with the sole motive to incite the Delhi Police to use force against them. Post the action by Delhi Police which the CJP had thought would happen, the CJP would play the victim card and ensure that Gen Z hits the street.
How Amit Shah, Delhi Police Derailed Sinister Ploy of CJP
In his wildest of dreams Abhijeet Dipke would not have imagined that the Delhi Police would issue him an NOC to hold the protest at Jantar Mantar without any haggling. The moment CJP’s Abhijeet landed at the Delhi Airport he was informed that an NOC was issued to hold the protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and he was whisked away to the protest venue.
At Jantar Mantar, police force was deployed in huge number, drones were used to photograph the protest, thereby implying that anyone who would try to indulge in violence or take the law in his or hand would be caught soon and would face the music. What one got to observe for the first time was Delhi Police personnel were seen in plain clothes with body cameras, and they mingled with the crowd of protesters at Jantar Mantar and captured every moment and individual.
Getting the NOC to hold the protest at Jantar Mantar without any hassle left CJP, its founders aghast as their first step to achieve their goal towards creating anarchy in Delhi fell flat on its face. The plan failed as CJP reportedly wanted to create ruckus at the Parliament Street Police Station and since the venue was shifted to Jantar Mantar, they could not muster even paid crowd in large numbers in such a short notice. Moreover, the real Gen Z was not eager to part of this protest, and the leftists were a bit jittery to resort to violence owing to the heavy deployment of forces. Thus, the whole plan of the CJP to create law and order problem in Delhi and win sympathy across Bharat by playing the victim card was derailed.
