MUMBAI: World Hindu Congress(WHC), 2026, the biggest gathering of the global Hindu leadership and community, is set to take place in Mumbai from December 18 to 20. The forum is the largest confluence of the global Hindu community, leadership and the youth network that renders a strategic direction to work with unity, Hindu spirit and shared values, which will yield civilisational resurgence and prosperity.

Speaking to Organiser Weekly, Swami Vigyananand, Joint General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) and Initiator of the WHC reiterated the vision and core objective behind catalysing the World Hindu Congress. He said that the global Hindu community, today, have accomplished incredible feats across various strategic sectors such as education, academia, media, politics, women empowerment, economy etc. But, they are operating in pockets.

It is vital to unite the global Hindu community, provide a strategic direction and instrumentalise them to work with a shared commitment and vision for global prosperity, in this direction World Hindu Congress(WHC) has been curated, said Swami Vigyananand. Operating in silos doesn’t yield greater benefits. WHC, thus, provides an opportunity to connect, unite and work together for civilisational resurgence, he further added.

17 per cent of global population should contribute 17 per cent of global GDP

Speaking to Organiser Weekly, Swami Vigyananand further stressed that Bharat comprises 17 per cent of global population. Thus, it has to contribute at least 17 per cent of Global GDP. In this direction, uniting the global Hindu community is vital as it helps them to work with the Hindu spirit for civilisational renaissance and global prosperity, VHP Joint General Secretary further stated. World Hindu Congress, provides a common & shared platform for the global Hindus, specifically the youth to discuss, deliberate, work and contribute together in strategic sectors such as education, economy, politics, media, democracy etc.

Swami Vigyananand further illustrated that today, there is no single or concrete global media platform from Bharat that will advance India’s aspirations, growth story and global contributions. There is no media house that can act as a strong voice against the fake narratives of certain western media houses. In such a precarious scenario, the role of the World Hindu Congress is vital. It provides a common & united platform for the global Hindu community to advance its ideas, aspirations, vision and mission for the prosperity of the world, he reiterated. WHC is hence a civilisational effort to strengthen the organisational spirit & strategic direction of the Hindu community.

World Hindu Congress(WHC) 2026, is the fourth edition, which is set to witness participation from more than 60 countries, 4000 delegates, world Hindu leaders, thinkers, businessmen, academicians and professionals from other diverse sectors. WHC 2026 will also have four special plenary sessions on Dharma, Samaj, Vishwakarma and Basha. There will also be World Hindu Expo to stimulate trade, commerce, science etc. from India to the world. The opportunity will boost India’s economic growth.

WHC 2026, will provide a global platform for Hindu leaders and institutions to connect, deliberate, collaborate and share ideas for the prosperity of the Hindu society and accelerate its contributions to the world.
