Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on July 17 accused the Aam Aadmi Party of “looting the future of Dalit children” by exposing alleged irregularities in the Jai Bhim Chief Minister Talent Development Scheme, launched during AAP’s tenure in Delhi. In a detailed post on X, Gupta claimed the AAP “insulted the ideals” of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and tarnished the education sector with corruption.

‘आप’ सरकार द्वारा चलाई जा रही “जय भीम मुख्यमंत्री प्रतिभा विकास योजना” में वर्ष 2021-22 में गंभीर वित्तीय अनियमितताएं सामने आई हैं। इस योजना का बजट सिर्फ ₹15 करोड़ था, लेकिन ‘आप’ सरकार ने लगभग ₹145 करोड़ के फर्ज़ी बिलों वाली फाइलों को आगे बढ़ा दिया।

“The Aam Aadmi Party has looted the future of Dalit children by seizing power in their name. They have insulted Babasaheb’s ideals and tainted the sacred field of education with their corrupt policies,” she posted.

Rekha Gupta alleged that while the scheme’s actual budget was Rs 15 crore, the AAP government approved fake bills totalling Rs 142 crore.

In a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has alleged massive financial irregularities in the Jai Bhim Chief Minister Talent Development Scheme during AAP’s tenure. In a detailed post on X, Gupta said that although the scheme had a sanctioned budget of Rs 15 crore in 2020–21, files were moved using fake bills worth over Rs 142 crore. She claimed that coaching benefits meant for Dalit children were falsely claimed—many without valid documents or signatures—and that several institutions listed under the scheme were found to be “100 per cent fake.”

Highlighting the severity of the alleged fraud, Rekha Gupta announced that the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) will carry out a full investigation. She accused AAP of misusing Dr B.R. Ambedkar’s name for political mileage while indulging in corruption.

“The AAP, which indulged in corruption under the guise of Ambedkar’s name, will soon have to account for every paisa,” Gupta posted. She also accused the party of deceiving Dalit communities, saying, “Their politics has always been about pretence. When it came to real action, they looted the very rights of those they promised to uplift.” Rekha Gupta concluded by saying the AAP’s “true face” will now be exposed before the public.
