Patna: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat on March 5 arrived in Bihar on his five-day visit. The Sarsanghchalak will be visiting Suapaul and Muzaffarpur districts of north Bihar during the visit.
Upon his arrival in the state, the Sarsanghchalak paid a visit to the house of Sri Prakash Narayan Singh in Patna yesterday before proceeding to Muzaffarpur on late evening.
He will be visiting Birpur of Supaul district on March 6 and will inaugurate Saraswati Vidya Bhawan being run by the Vidya Bharti, an affiliate organisation of RSS in the field of education. The Sarsanghchalak will also be addressing the Swayamsevaks at the program. Swamayamsevaks of Nepal will also be participating in the program.
Security was beefed up at the Indo-Nepal border and in Birpur locality ahead of Sarsanghchalak visit. An alert was sounded for all the Border Out Posts (BOPs) at the Indo-Nepal border where security personnel of Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) are keeping a vigil watch on commuters making an entry via border.
Upon his return from Supaul, the Sarsanghchalak will be holding meetings with the Swayamsevaks of north Bihar at Muzaffarpur between March 7 to 9, before departing for Nagpur on March 9. The meeting would be focused on expanding the work of RSS in northern part of the state.
