NEW DELHI: Ms. Akie Abe, wife of former Japanese Prime Minister (late) Shinzo Abe and Tomohiko Taniguchi, Chairman, Nippon Kaigi met Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), on October 8, Thursday, at Keshav Kunj, the RSS office in New Delhi.

The meeting featured a cordial and substantive exchange of views on strengthening Bharat – Japan relations, with particular emphasis on civilisational bonds, cultural cooperation and people-centric initiatives. Both Ms. Abe and Dattatreya Hosabale Ji will explore avenues for collaboration in these areas.

Ms. Abe, Chairperson, Foundation for social contribution and Tomohiko Taniguchi, Chairperson Nippon Kaigi, a prominent Japanese non-governmental organisation interacted over an hour, reflecting a shared interest in deepening engagement between the two countries.

The RSS leadership, Foundation for social contribution and Nippon Kaigi delegation agreed to strengthen the cultural ties between Bharat and Japan.
