It is to be noted that the Nitish Kumar ruled state has witnessed a surge in the cases pertaining to murder, loot and crime against women lately as a number of such incidents has been coming to the fore on a regular basis while the capital city of Patna being no exception.

The incident occured when Mukhiya was heading towards his office on Monday morning when the miscreants shot him near Kurja Mor under Patliputra police station limits. Earlier a shopkeeper along with a other person were also shot by miscreants in Kajipur under Kadamkuwan police station limits of Patna on Saturday July 29.

Meanwhile the deteriorating state of law and order in the state has enabled the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to go all guns blazing on the ruling RJD-JDU alliance.

Taking to twitter, senior leader of BJP Nikhil Ananad while slamming the Nitish led state government said “that amid the number game played by the government, truth is coming out from a few officers in the state.”

“30 incidents of murder took place in the capital Patna meaning 365 murders took place in a year. Bihar is in such a bad state but the king is busy dreaming of the prime minister’s post’, twitted the BJP leader.
