Once again a Muslim boy managed to trap an innocent Hindu girl by faking his identity and posing as a Hindu man. The cases of ‘Love Jihad’ are at an all-time high, With laws like the ‘Anti Conversion Act’ in place the accused are getting duly punished for their offence.

One such incident has been reported from the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh on May 24. In this case, the accused Imran Mansuri posed as Rahul Gujjar to trap Hindu girls.

The accused has been booked under charges of the POCSO Act and was arrested by the Moradabad police the same day.

As per the media reports, the victim is a minor (16) and a class 12 student. She met the accused through the social media platform, Instagram. Imran has an Instagram ID with the fake name Rahul Gujjar.

Imran managed to groom the minor and asked her to meet him. He then took her to a hotel in the Budh Bazar area of the city. On a general inquiry by the hotel manager, the girl noticed the accused providing a different ID in the name of Imran.

When asked, he said that he had created a fake ID card in the name of a Muslim so that people do not recognize him. The girl happened to believe all his lies. But, the hotel manager raised the suspicion on seeing a different ID of the accused.

He also found out the girl was a minor, so he called up some local Hindu activists who brought the police on the spot and raided the hotel. It was later revealed that the man was actually a Muslim and had created a fake Instagram ID.

A Hindu activist while speaking with the media said, “The accused had created a fake ID with a Hindu mane. He then trapped a 16-year-old Hindu girl. The police later found out that his actual name was Imran Mansuri. His phone was also seized and some photos of the victim girl wearing a Hijab were found. This is all nexus, like the one shown in the movie ‘The Kerala Story’. This is jihad, nothing else,” he said.

Following the raid the police arrested the accused Imran, he has been booked under charges of POCSO and other dedicated charges.

Organiser reported a case on May 19, from the Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, a Hindu woman informed the police that, a Muslim man trapped her upon posing as a Hindu. The Superintendent of Police, Mirzapur told the media, this is a case of ‘Love Jihad’.

The Station Officer, Vipin Kumar Singh told Organiser on May 19 that the accused Arif has been booked under IPC sections 342 (wrongful confinement), 376D (repeated rape) and 504 (intentional insult) with sections 3 / 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act.
