On May 16, an actor and social media influencer based in Pakistan, Shayan Ali took it to Twitter to share his journey out of Pakistan. In this long Tweet, he stated how he was forced to endorse ISI propaganda against India. He safely moved to the United States and avoid being killed.

For refusing to work on propaganda against India, he was often called Jewish and a RAW agent. His Twitter bio says he is born in Pakistan and is an Indian by heart. The following article is a compilation of details provided by Shayan on Twitter.

In a long Twitter post, he says, “People who know me are familiar that when I refused to work in a music video of DG-ISPR with the name of “Kashmir Hon Mein,” they started accusing me of being a RAW and JEW Agent only because of my blonde hair,”

The song he is talking about is available on YouTube, with a handle named ISPR Official. The video was posted by the handle on February 5, 2020. The description of the video says, “ISPR released a new song on Kashmir day, exposing Indian Army’s inhumane treatment of Kashmiris. The Song depicts; the violation of the rights of Kashmiris to self-determination and their struggle to free Kashmir from illegal Indian occupation.”

The video begins with a child wounded, saying “I am Kashmiri and this is my crime”. The video calls Burhan Wani a martyr and demands Azadi. The mob amidst violence hoist Pakistani flags, showing Kashmir should be a part of Pakistan.

In his Tweet Shayan added, “After I exposed ISI publicly, I had no other choice but to apologize to the state of Pakistan so that I can leave Pakistan safely otherwise they had already made the plan to kill me,” he added further.

Shayan was asked to be a part of the video. He says, “As a Fashion Model and Influencer, ISI usually used to ask us to make promotional and all kinds of stupid videos in the favour of the Pakistani Army.”

Shayan rose against the ISI and busted their propaganda, he added, “For this music video, almost all of my fellow influencers got agreed with the ISI except me and when I told them that what you guys are showing is wrong and totally opposite of the reality… this was the thing which triggered them the most.”

Shayan has more than 18 thousand followers on Twitter. In September 2019, he managed to leave Pakistan.
In December 2019, when the “PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority)” found out about my recent social media post against Pakistan, they sent the Sindh Police to arrest me and that was the time when they figured out that I am no longer living in Pakistan, he said in the Tweet.

He says the ISI tried to kill him, and he added, “This news turned out to be one of the worst news for ISI because now it became hard for them to kill me and silence my voice and they also knew that I will expose all of their ugly secrets to the whole world… which is why they continued their radicalism by sending me threat messages and putting a ban on my website and on media.”

He says he was threatened on a regular basis in Pakistan. He added in the Tweet, “ISI and Pakistani Army believe that they are above God but they have forgotten that God always protects the truth and the person who speaks the truth and exposes evil,”

“ISI tried their best to silence my voice but the God wanted me to expose the terrorist state of Pakistan to the whole world which is why God protected me from literally every torture of ISI and Pakistan Army,” he added further.

With this Tweet, Shayan added a picture of boarding a flight from Pakistan to America. He said, “Even though I was lucky that I left Pakistan safely, but still my struggle against the terrorist ISI never ended. I was fighting this fight alone and on the other hand, there was the whole state of Pakistan but at the end, Satyameva Jayate”.

Shayan is a proud Indian and a video from his wall of him reciting the Hanuman Chalisa is going viral. He can be seen reciting the verses as, “Ram Doot atulit baldhama, Anjani Puta Pawansut Nama..”

He also shared details of his family and quoted the Tweet as Pakistan was created on the basis of religion but he believes in India and his grandparents did a huge mistake by choosing Pakistan over India.

“My grandparents chose Pakistan instead of India only because they were Muslims, and migrating to Pakistan was the biggest mistake of my grandparents,” he added.

“If I was in India instead of Pakistan, I wouldn’t have to leave my country because of the security issues,” said Shayan.

He said, “In simple words, Pakistan is not even a country because a country has its own culture,”

“Pakistan just copied the whole Indian culture after 1947, because the people who separated this piece of land from India were not very intelligent to create their own culture,” he added.

There is no such thing as “Pakistan” 🇵🇰

Pakistan was created in the name of religion not because it was needed.

My grandparents chose Pakistan instead of India 🇮🇳 only because they were Muslims, and migrating to Pakistan was the biggest mistake of my grandparents.
