On February 26, terrorists shot a Kashmiri Pandit in Achan village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The deceased was identified as Sanjay Sharma, a bank security guard. The terror outfit Kashmir Freedom Fighters (KFF) claimed responsibility for killing a Kashmiri Pandit, Sanjay Sharma, in Pulwama. The terror outfit has further threatened Kashmiri Hindus with more attacks in days to come.

KFF’s spokesperson Waseem Mir said, “Today in wee hours our cadre eliminated a Kashmiri Pandit namely Sanjay Sharma s/o Kashinaath Sharma R/o Achan Pulwama. We already have warned many times in the recent past that any Kashmiri pandit, Hindus or Tourists from India will be eliminated.”

The terror outfit further claimed that “After the removal of Article 370 these people (Kashmiri Pandits) are nothing but pawns of occupation to further their settler colonialism agenda.” The terror outfit threatened, “Think again or be ready for your turn.”

The terror outfit said, “We promise to avenge every drop of blood of our martyr brothers. We ask people to remain cautious of nefarious plans of the occupier, stop giving refuge to any outsider.” The terror outfit ended the statement with, “In days to come will will surprise you with more attacks.”

The terror outfit’s recent attack comes in a long line of attacks against Kashmiri Pandits. On October 15, 2022, KFF’s terrorists opened fire on Puran Krishan Bhat, a Kashmiri Pandit in Chowdari Gund in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

On August 16, 2022, another Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead by terrorists at an apple orchard in the Chotipora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, while his brother was injured in the same attack. The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar, while his brother Pintu Kumar was injured.
