Bharat Parikrama Yatra enters Karnataka

Chikkaballapura: Bharat Parikrama Yatra by Shri Sitaram Kedilaya entered Karnataka on October 25 for second time at Marganukunte Village under Bagepalli Taluk in Chikkaballapura district. Shri Kedilaya has so far covered an approximate distance of 21,300 km by walk in 23 states reaching around 2000 villages. The Yatra entered Marganukunte from Gorantla region of Andhra Pradesh. In October 2012 also the Yatra had visited coastal Karnataka Villages for 45 days. RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, senior Pracharak Shri KS Nagaraj, Prant Pracharak Shri Sudhir, Sah Prant Pracharak Shri Guruprasad and other leaders also joined the Yatra on October 31 at Gerahalli, Chikkaballapura.

 

Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair in Bengaluru from December 14
Bengaluru: Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair-2016 (HSSF) in Karnataka is being organised from December 14 to 18, 2016 at National High School Grounds, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. This will be the second Fair in the state. Last it was held at the same venue from December 9 to 13, 2015. Addressing mediapersons on November 1 eminent economist and founding organiser of the Fair, Shri S Gurumurthy said, “The Fair intends to provide a platform for spiritual and service organisations and also to motivate, involve the public to be part of the process of social transformation.” Eminent scientist and former ISRO Chairman Dr Kasturirangan is the Chairperson of the Reception Committee. At the Press Meet, Dr Kasturirangan, Shri TV Mohandas Pai, Shri Murali Malayappan, Shri MP Kumar and Sridhar Sagar were also present. The mega 5-day conclave will have more than 250 Hindu socio-religious service institutions from across Karnataka showcasing their various service activities by setting up stalls.
