NEW DELHI: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)’s 13 probable candidates, announced for the upcoming Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections, commenced their pre-campaign outreach. The probable candidates visited various colleges and departments across the North Campus, South Campus and Kalkaji Campus of Delhi University, engaging directly with students and apprising them of ABVP’s work and achievements in the interest of students.
During the pre-campaign, the candidates interacted with students to understand their issues, expectations, aspirations and suggestions. In these interactions, ABVP flag bearers also highlighted the initiatives undertaken by the ABVP-led DUSU for the welfare of students, including the Great DUSU Internship, Centralised Hostel System, Pink Booths for women’s safety, installation of CCTV cameras, and several other student-centric initiatives.
ABVP’s 13 probable candidates will continue their extensive outreach campaign among students across various Delhi University campuses in the coming days. Suggestions and priorities received from students during this campaign will be compiled and incorporated into the manifesto for the upcoming students’ union elections, ensuring that the manifesto reflects the genuine needs and aspirations of Delhi University students.
