BENGALURU: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarasanghachalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat underlined Bharat’s global responsibility and affirmed that Bharat’s complete and integrated vision holds the answers that the world today is seeking. While prevailing global frameworks offer partial perspectives, they alone cannot fully resolve the challenges of our times. “To make it complete, on the basis of our complete vision, for the welfare of all beings across the world, Bharat must be heard. This is inevitable,” he declared, describing the work of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal as participation in a larger civilizational mission, “our work is in fact to give completeness to the world.”

Elaborating on Bharatiya perspectives, Dr Bhagwat made clear that it does not regard other perspectives as wrong, as all peoples form their visions from their own life experiences and those hold their own validity. Through the principle of Anekata, the diversity embracing Bharatiya vision welcomes all such experiences, recognising that truth is too vast for any single perspective to contain wholly, the path being not argument but Shaastratha, scholarly dialogue, to draw the essence from every viewpoint. Bharatiya perspectives, he concluded, is complete where others remain incomplete, and for this completeness, Bharat must be heard.

Dr Bhagwat underlined that Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal’s (BSM) work is not a small or limited enterprise but participation in a larger civilizational mission, rooted in a comprehensive, integrated Bharatiya vision of education. BSM works toward a holistic perspective that addresses the human being in totality, going beyond mere material livelihood and the measuring of everything in terms of money.

He emphasised that BSM keeps itself independent of all political parties and their compulsions, recalling how even stalwarts of the freedom movement kept such work separate from political organizations “such work cannot be done properly alongside a political party.” It is this independence of purpose, rootedness in Bharatiya values, and vision of Vishwa Poornatha that sets Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal apart from all other such institutions.

On the occasion, Dr Mohan Bhagwat also launched the new website of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, marking a significant step in expanding BSM’s digital outreach and making its vision of Bharatiya education more accessible to educators, scholars, and citizens across the country and beyond.

The valedictory address was attended by BMS functionaries including All-India President Dr Sachchidanand Joshi and All-India General Secretary Dr Bharatsharan Singh, along with 380 delegates from across the country, comprising educators, academicians, scholars and members participating in the deliberations.

The three-day conference of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal was inaugurated by Thawar Chand Gehlot, Governor of Karnataka. The meet provided a vital platform for functionaries from across Bharat to exchange ideas and collectively deliberate on strengthening the work of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal in the field of education rooted in Bharatiya values and ethos.
