The BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir which will be inaugurated in the month of September will be thus a first-of-its-kind in Paris. Following the inauguration of the temple, a 15 day celebration will be held and the mandir is open to visitors from across the globe. Members of the Indian diaspora highlighted the opening of the temple as a symbol of growing cultural connection between India and France.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhavi Parekh, a member of the Indian community in France, expressed pride over the development and said that the temple represents the rich heritage and traditions of India. “The speciality of this temple is that it has been crafted in India and assembled in France. We are delighted to welcome everyone to visit this historic place of worship,” she further added. Representatives associated with the BAPS community stated that the temple has been built using specially sourced stones from India and transported to France for assembly.
