Rashtriya Swyamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale expressed deep grief on the passing of former Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Major General (Retd.) Shri Bhuwan Chand Khanduri.

It marks the end of an era defined by discipline, integrity, and unwavering dedication to national service. From the battlefields of military life to the responsibilities of democratic governance, Khanduri Ji carried the spirit of duty with exceptional commitment and humility. His demise has deeply saddened countless citizens, political leaders, and social organisations across the country, he said.

RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale remembered Khanduri Ji as a leader whose disciplined military values continued to guide his public life and administrative responsibilities.

A respected veteran of the Indian Army, Bhuwan Chand Khanduri was widely known for his simplicity, and firm governance. During his tenure as Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, he earned admiration for prioritising transparency, accountability, and development-oriented administration. Even in political life, he remained deeply rooted in the principles of honesty and national service.

In its condolence message, the RSS prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense loss. Khanduri Ji’s life will continue to inspire generations as an example of selfless service to the nation.
