Satna: “The soul of Bharat lies in the principle of “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya” (welfare and happiness of all),” said Bhayyaji Joshi, Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Sadasya of RSS while addressing a Pramukh Jan Goshthi organised on the occasion of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s centenary year.
He emphasised that Bharatiya society is identified by its high moral values, social harmony, and spirit of humanity, which must be preserved in the present times.
He noted that while circumstances may change with time, foundational values such as truth, harmony, trust, and a sense of duty must remain constant. Any deviation from these values, he said, leads to imbalance and insecurity in society.
Highlighting Bharat’s potential to emerge as a Vishwaguru, he stated that this can only be realised when society fulfils its responsibilities. Drawing an example, he said that in both family and society, every individual has a role to play—raising children is not merely a right but a responsibility.
Expressing concern over the declining moral standards in contemporary times, he pointed out the presence of social evils and inequalities, stressing the need for awareness and collective efforts to address them. While the Constitution and laws guarantee equal rights, he added, it is equally important to cultivate a sense of equality and respect within society.
He further stated that Bharat’s culture has always upheld the ideals of human welfare and environmental protection. Therefore, individuals must perform their duties with a sense of responsibility towards society and nature. If every individual acts with this consciousness, Bharat will not only become a strong nation but also emerge as a guiding force for the world.
