NEW DELHI: More and more young people are joining the RSS, with individuals connecting with us every year across the country, said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar, while addressing the media on March 11, 2026, at Samalkha, Haryana.

The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) of the RSS will be held this year at Samalkha (Haryana) during Yugabda 5127, Vikram Samvat 2082, Chaitra Krishna Dashami to Ekadashi, i.e., from March 13-15, 2026. From the RSS organisational perspective, this is the highest decision-making body of the Sangh. This annual meeting will take place at the Gram Vikas and Seva Sadhana Kendra, Patti Kalyana, Samalkha (Haryana).

RSS Sarsanghchalak, Sarkaryavah and all Akhil Bhartiya sadasya have already reached at the baithak spot, Sunil Ambekar informed.

Highlighting the Sangh’s expanding outreach, Sunil Ambekar stated that 6,000 new shakhas have been added compared to last year. “More and more young people are joining the RSS, with individuals connecting with us every year through the Join RSS link on our website.” He stated that 16,000 people joined in January last year, whereas 26,000 have joined this year. A large number of Prarambhik and Prathamik Vargas will also be organised.

This year as well, 97 training camps (Vargs) will be organised by the Sangh. Out of these, 73 will be Sangh Shiksha Vargas and Karyakarta Vikas Vargas for those below 40 years of age, while 25 Vargs will be organised for those in the 40–65 age group. In addition, two Akhil Bharatiya-level Vargs will also be conducted.

This year also marks the 650th birth anniversary of Shiromani Sant Ravidas Ji. Programmes related have already begun from February 1 and will continue for one year, and a statement will also be issued on the occasion. RSS swayamsevaks across the country will organise programmes to commemorate the occasion.

On March 13, the Sarkaryavah, Dattatreya Hosabale, will address the press and brief them on the discussions held during the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha.

The ABPS will also finalise the plans for the nationwide Pravas of Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak.

An exhibition has also been organised at the meeting campus showcasing programmes related to the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, which was inaugurated by Sah-Sarkaryavah Krishna Gopal.

As this year marks the centenary of the Sangh, the meeting will include detailed discussions on major programmes and campaigns organised as part of the centenary celebrations such as the Vijayadashami Utsav, Grihasampark (mass contact programme), Hindu Sammelan, Youth Conferences, gatherings of prominent citizens, and social harmony meetings, along with sharing of experiences and outcomes. More than 10 crore homes have been reached so far in the Grihasampark abhiyan. The Pratinidhi Sabha will also review the Sangh’s activities during 2025–26 and present reports on significant initiatives carried out across various provinces, Sunil Ambekar ji informed.

The meeting will deliberate on the current national scenario and pass resolutions on important matters. There will be discussions on the Panch Parivartan (Five Transformations) initiatives and the social transformation efforts being undertaken through Sangh shakhas. Deliberations will be held on the plans for Sangh Shiksha Vargs (training camps), Karyakarta Vikas Vargs (worker development courses), and other training programmes, and on the Sangh’s action plan for the forthcoming year.
