The Kerala Story 2: Exposing the dark face of Love Jihad; Awakening the Hindu society against the Islamic atrocities

“The Kerala Story 2” puts its faith in the Police & the governance system to seek justice for the young Hindu girls who are exploited at the hands of Islamic boys. It also appeals for unity and vigilance among the Hindu society against the Islamic atrocities and the dark face of Love Jihad

“You are Liberal because you are Hindu” – says a father, who brought up his daughter as a so-called “progressive daughter of a progressive father”. The daughter is shocked that her father could bring up religion at a time when she loves Salim. But she discovers her deep Dharmic convictions as the film reaches its climax.

I had the opportunity to watch the preview of the “Kerala Story -2 Goes Beyond” on Feb 24, 2026 at I-Max theatre at Hyderabad. Inspired by real life incidents, the film reveals how the Islamic grooming gangs known as the “Love-Jihad” syndicates work in various parts of the country targeting girls, appealing to their ambitions, love and also their liberal ideals. Ghazva-e-Hind 2047 is the goal and the 8.5 crore Hindu unmarried girls — the target.

Multiple incidents have been reported recently, of girls from communist families in Kerala who fell victim to this Jihad. In the news recently was the daughter of CPM leader PV Bhaskaran who had earlier called the Kerala Story movie — a propaganda movie. She filed a complaint against him stating that she was mistreated by her parents for wanting to marry a Muslim. Another Christian CPM leader’s minor daughter from Idukki district was trapped and taken to the “Muanathul Islamic Sabha” – an “authorised conversion centre” at Malappuram. Thousands of such cases have been reported in Kerala and other states.

In 2025, the Uttar Pradesh police cracked a Love Jihad racket in which the mastermind Jamaluddin alias Chhangur Baba was involved in a 100 Crore plus racket in which young Muslim men concealed their true identity under fake Hindi ID’s and entrapped thousands of Hindu girls. This was going on for over 40 years! Poor, helpless labourers, weaker sections and widowed women were lured with incentives, financial aid, promises of marriage or forced through intimidation, to convert in stark violation of established legal procedures. Many reports suggest that there was a rate card for converting girls which ran upto 15 Lakhs for upper caste girls.

Across the country, there are hundreds of reports of young women who wanted to make a career as influencers on social media who were trapped, seduced, exploited and in some unfortunate cases, also mutiliated or killed. The movie also takes from the contemporary scene some aspects of the struggle that national shooter Tara Sachdev of Jharkhand had to put up with.

In a 2024 report, Organiser weekly documented over 200 such cases of Love Jihad.

In 2007, SL Bhyrappa wrote Aavarana, a novel in which a “liberal-progressive” woman, daughter of a devout Hindu falls in love with another liberal-progressive Muslim man who shows his true colours as the story unfolds. The novel is a must read for all and was translated into multiple languages.

In 2012, Ms. Sarah Champion, Labour MP from Rotherham in the United Kingdom said “There are hundreds of thousands and I think there could be up to a million victims of exploitation nationwide, including right now. Girls in the process of being groomed”. The situation has not changed and in fact worsened. Islamic grooming gangs are the biggest threat that face young British girls as well today.(Source: Samvit Kendra ).

The Kerala Story 2 indeed does go Beyond!

The narrated incidents expose a larger racket. The climax is vibrant and moving. For once, a film places its faith on the police administration including that of Kerala government showing that when the Indian police get it right, they can contain crimes of any kind. At the same time, it appeals to the common citizens to be vigilant and put pressure on all levels of governance to address this menace.

Director Sri Kamakhya Narayan Singh deserves deep appreciation for bringing this light to a very worrisome and contemporary subject, as does the producer Sri Vipul Amrutlal Shah who continuing to invest time and money to make society aware of this global threat.
