According to witnesses, slogans such as “Mohammed Jinnah Amar Rahein” were shouted, leaving several students uncomfortable. As word of the incident spread to nearby areas, tensions escalated. Local villagers arrived at the school and staged a protest on the campus, with parents and residents expressing strong resentment, calling the act offensive and inappropriate.

Following the incident, the school headmaster, Dhananjay Tiwari, submitted a written complaint to the Kishanpur police station. In the complaint, he said the act tarnished the dignity of the institution and was contrary to the sovereignty of the nation and the values enshrined in the Constitution. Based on this complaint, an FIR was registered against Mansoor Alam under Sections 152, 252, 196, and 197 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Speaking to the media, Tiwari confirmed that the accused was subsequently arrested by the police. After receiving the report, the police promptly arrived at the school to bring the situation under control.

According to authorities, students who witnessed the incident provided detailed statements regarding what they saw and heard. Kishanpur police station in-charge, Gyan Ranjan, confirmed that the teacher had been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

The Education Department has also intervened and is set to initiate a departmental inquiry into the teacher’s actions. The incident has triggered widespread outrage in the area, with parents and local residents demanding strict measures to ensure that schools remain safe and respectful spaces for students.
