HYDERABAD: Shri Vishwa Niketan, a Delhi-based trust, has organised the 7th Vishwa Sangh Shibir (VSS) at the serene and expansive Kanha Shanti Vanam, near Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad). The five-day global congregation has brought together 1,610 karyakartas, volunteers, and delegates from 79 countries, representing all continents.
Welcoming the participants, Shri Shyam Parande, on behalf of Shri Vishwa Niketan, said that the Vishwa Sangh Shibir is a unique global platform where key karyakartas assemble once every five years to reconnect, share experiences, and strengthen their collective resolve. “This is not merely an event, but a joyful and purposeful congregation that reinforces our shared vision and commitment,” he said.

The inaugural session, held on December 25 at 5:00 pm, was blessed by Pujaniya Swami Govind Dev Giri ji, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Nyas, Ayodhya. The keynote address was delivered by Mananiya Dattatreya ji Hosabale, Sarkaryawah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The event was graced by the presence of Pujaniya  Daaji, Global Spiritual Guide of the Heartfulness Movement. The session was presided over by Shibiradhikari Hon’ble Shri Banwarilal Purohit, President of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and former Governor of Assam, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu.

Welcoming the delegates, Saumitra Gokhale, Global Coordinator of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), stated that the Shibir is a gathering of karyakarta families committed to practicing and advancing Hindu Dharma across the world. Dr. Siddhesh Shevade, Shibir Karyavah, introduced the dignitaries present on the dais.

A special souvenir magazine based on the Shibir theme “Dharme Sarvam Pratisthitam” was released at the hands of Swami Govind Dev Giri ji. The publication features articles exploring the contemporary application of Dharma across various walks of life. On the occasion, four books authored by noted writer Dr. Ratan Sharda, documenting the history of Hindu Sangathan work in different countries through extensive research and interviews, were also released. Additionally, two new books authored by Pujaniya Shri Daaji—“The Heart of Lord Ram” and “Holy Tirthankars”—were released by Dattatreya ji Hosabale.

The globally sung Vishwa Prarthana, a signature prayer at HSS events worldwide, was released in a special musical rendering by Shankar Mahadevan, composed and directed by renowned music director Rahul Ranade. A thematic video based on this recording, accompanied by a philharmonic orchestra, was also unveiled.
Addressing the gathering, Ma. Dattatreya ji Hosabale exhorted karyakartas of HSS and other Hindu organisations to live and act according to Dharma, irrespective of the country they reside in, noting that Dharma has the potential to bring peace and prosperity globally.

“Hindus have never spread their influence through force, but through knowledge, philosophy, culture, science, and harmonious coexistence with nature and society,” he said. Emphasising the theme of the Shibir, he added, “The vision of Dharma and the mission of Sangh are inseparable. Service to society and care for nature are central to the message emanating from the Shakha.”

Expounding on the theme “Dharme Sarvam Pratisthitam (धर्मे सर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम्)”, Swami Govind Dev Giri ji stated that Dharma provides equilibrium and stability in life. “Without Dharma, there can be neither peace nor development. Dharma ensures both Abhyudaya (material prosperity) and Nishreyas (inner fulfillment), guiding humanity through cosmic principles,” he said.

The Shibir features lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, all aligned with the central theme of Dharma as the foundation of individual, societal, and global well-being.

We will also arrange a meeting with Shobhit Participants from various countries till 3.15 pm

A Sarvajanik Karyakram (public function) will be held on Sunday, December 28, at 4:30 pm at Kanha Shanti Vanam. Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohanji Bhagwat and Pujya Daaji will address the gathering. Dr Krishna Ella, Founder of Bharat Biotech, will attend as the Chief Guest.
