The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the world’s largest socio-cultural organisation, will mark a momentous milestone as it completes 100 years of its establishment on October 2, 2025. The centenary celebration coincides with Vijayadashami, a festival deeply embedded in Bharatiya culture as a symbol of the triumph of righteousness, valor, and national spirit. The historic Vijayadashami Utsav will be organised at 7:40 am at Reshimbagh Ground in Nagpur, where the Sangh was originally founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.

On this grand occasion, the Former President of Bharat, Dr Ram Nath Kovind ji, will grace the ceremony as the Chief Guest, while the most revered Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat ji will deliver the guiding keynote address, illuminating the direction of the Sangh’s journey into its second century.

For the RSS, Vijayadashami has always held special significance. It was on this day that Dr. Hedgewar laid the foundation of the organisation with the aim of building a strong, united, and culturally rooted Bharat. Over the last hundred years, the Sangh has expanded its footprint across all spheres of society education, healthcare, rural development, disaster relief, social reforms, and above all, instilling a deep sense of patriotism and service in successive generations.

The centenary Vijayadashami Utsav will not merely be a ritualistic tradition, but a call for national awakening, a reaffirmation of discipline, organisation, and devotion to the motherland. The celebrations will highlight the Sangh’s enduring ideals of seva (service), samarpan (dedication), and unwavering commitment to national interest.
