For over seven decades, the organisation has been steadfastly committed to the cause of student welfare and national interest. Today, on the occasion of National Students’ Day, ABVP celebrated through a multitude of programs that showcased its ideological conviction and social responsibility.

The 77-year-long journey of ABVP stands as a testimony not only to the powerful role of student-led movements, but also as a guiding force in the nation’s rebuilding by channelising the energy of youth. Today, with an active membership of nearly 60 lac members, ABVP is not only the largest student organisation in India but also in the world—working with dedication to bring about meaningful change in society through thought, action, leadership, and value-based character-building.

ABVP’s National General Secretary, Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki said,  “The 77-year journey of ABVP is not just the history of an organisation—it is a reflection of the awakened consciousness of Bharat’s student community. We salute those dedicated karyakartas, especially the martyrs, who nurtured ABVP’s many movements with their sacrifice. Through the triad of service, organisation, and values, the nationwide public awakening that we are witnessing today will define the direction of Bharat’s future. This Foundation Day reminds us that students are not at all the citizens of future rather they are the nation-architects of today.”
