Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), on the occasion of its 77th Foundation Day, marked the day with inspiring and ideologically driven events across the nation. For over seven decades, the organisation has been steadfastly committed to the cause of student welfare and national interest. Today, on the occasion of National Students’ Day, ABVP celebrated through a multitude of programs that showcased its ideological conviction and social responsibility.

ABVP units across the country organised various events in universities, colleges, departments, districts, and towns including seminars, public talks, Sewa activities, Deepotsav, plantation drives, cleanliness drives, student interactions, career counselling sessions, essay competitions, cultural programs, blood donation camps, and youth dialogues.

Through these events, awareness was spread about ABVP’s multi-dimensional working such as Students for Sewa, Students For Development, Rashtriya Kala Manch, Shodh(research activities), Khelo Bharat, etc. Students and Youth were actively engaged and connected with these ideological and creative events, further reinforcing ABVP’s commitment to nation rebuilding through constructivism, thought, and service.

The 77-year-long journey of ABVP stands as a testimony not only to the powerful role of student-led movements, but also as a guiding force in the nation’s rebuilding by channelising the energy of youth. Today, with an active membership of nearly 60 lac members, ABVP is not only the largest student organisation in India but also in the world—working with dedication to bring about meaningful change in society through thought, action, leadership, and value-based character-building.

ABVP’s National General Secretary, Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki said,  “The 77-year journey of ABVP is not just the history of an organisation—it is a reflection of the awakened consciousness of Bharat’s student community. We salute those dedicated karyakartas, especially the martyrs, who nurtured ABVP’s many movements with their sacrifice. Through the triad of service, organisation, and values, the nationwide public awakening that we are witnessing today will define the direction of Bharat’s future. This Foundation Day reminds us that students are not at all the citizens of future rather they are the nation-architects of today.”
