Lokmata Ahilyadevi Holkar Birth Anniversary: A Sanatan flame that still guides Bharat

The glory and rise of Bharat is universally despised for obvious reasons. Bharat’s greatness stems from its universal principles of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The entire world is one family) and “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina” (All live in peace and happiness). The greedy Western world, Deep State global market forces, have left Islamic inhuman cohesion in their consistent efforts to control the world in order to exploit and grab natural resources and wealth, hijack political power in order to destroy culture and develop a colonial mindset, and as a result, Bharat has been invaded and looted numerous times over the last few centuries. However, history teaches us that Bharat creates characters with boundless strength to combat their adversaries. A few examples include Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap, Ahilyadevi Holkar, and Rani Laxmibai, among others.

The current global environment clearly demonstrates that Bharat must fight on multiple fronts, both within and outside. The terrorist states of Pakistan and Bangladesh, as well as a communist mindset China and deep state global market forces in the Western world, are working tirelessly to weaken Bharat because they are unable to digest progress that does not align with their greedy objective. The second front is internal opponents who are working at the behest of their worldwide superiors to cause unrest in Bharat, divide society, promote illegal religious conversions, and harm the economy. Both enemies should recognise that Bharat fosters strong characters who contribute to society and make the country great again.

Not only men but even women have demonstrated tenacity on numerous occasions, proving to the world that Bharat cannot be vanquished. Rani Ahilyadevi Holkar was a wonderful goddess-like persona. Internal and external opponents should study Ahilyadevi before embarking on any misadventure against Bharat and its essential ideals. Her indefinable power will shed light on why Bharat lives and moves forward despite fatal battles with external and internal adversaries. Let us get to know Ahilyadevi in greater depth.

Ahilyadevi: A charismatic and multidimensional personality

She has a special place in Bharatiya history because of her style of governance, which emphasises administrative and military prowess in addition to soft power (respecting Sanatan Dharma and cultural icons throughout Bharat). The tales of bravery and compassion of women who were surrounded by customs and barriers can be found in the historical realms, lost in the passage of time. Nevertheless, they persevered in their efforts to serve our homeland, Bharat Mata, and will serve as a reminder to future generations of their legacy. Today, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, the Queen of Bharat, is regarded as a great leader and valiant fighter, much like Rajmata. She is a manifestation of Dashabhuja, the divine. Many generations of women have been inspired by her innumerable achievements, which have overcome the severe gender boundaries and ideas prevalent in the 18th century. She became a widow at the young age of 29 after her husband, Khanderao, was killed at the battle of Kumbher in 1754. Malhar Rao, Ahilyabai’s father-in-law, prevented her from doing Sati when it was scheduled.  Malhar Rao Holkar had been her closest ally at the time.  But Ahilyabai’s dominion collapsed like a deck of cards when her father-in-law passed away in 1766, just 12 years after the death of his son Khanderao. Consider a woman who, after losing her husband in combat, lost her lone ally a few years later.  Many emperors were getting ready for combat.  There were also adversaries within.  She wasn’t afraid, but there was a lot of animosity when she came forward.  The queen was named “The Philosopher Queen” by British historian John Keay. In a nation that has seen many brave queens, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar’s legacy is unparalleled due to her incredible 30-year reign, which left a lasting imprint and source of inspiration. The growth of Sanatan Dharma in her short life against all odds demonstrates her mantle and dedication for the Hindutva cause, which every Bharathiya of today must develop for a better Bharat and world.

After the death of her only son, Ahilyabai Holkar devoted all of her money to constructing, rebuilding, renovating, and maintaining temples all over India, according to Arvind Javlekar’s book Lokmata Ahilyabai.

Ahilyadevi built or renovated major temples and ghats

Reconstruction of the destroyed Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga Mandir.  Gujarat’s Somnath Jyotirlinga Mandir was renovated. Grishneshwara Jyotirlinga Mandir at Maharashtra’s Sambhaji Nagar. The Mandir of Vishnupada in Gaya, Bihar. The Mandir of Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga was renovated. Mandirs of Srinath were built in Rishikesh, as well as in Vrindavan, Puri, Prayag, Srisailam, Nashik, and Pandarpur, among other places.  Dharamshalas in places like Gangotri and Haridwar. There are ghats along the Ganga in Varanasi, Ahilya Ghat in Haridwar, ghats along the Saru in Ayodhya, and 13 ghats were built in Madhya Pradesh along the Shipra River along the Yamuna in Mathura, Nashik, and Yamuna. Ghats in Varanasi, such as the well-known Manikarnika Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Shitla Ghat, etc, were renovated.

She supported many artists, such as Sanskrit scholar Khushali Ram, Marathi poet Moropant, and Shahir Ananta Gandhi. She made Maheshwar, in Madhya Pradesh, the Holkar Dynasty’s seat. She cleared the path for women’s empowerment and popularised Maheshwari saris, which are native to Maheshwar. A long-standing regulation that permitted the state to seize the property of childless widows was abolished by Ahilyabai.  She was in charge of the thriving trade and commerce, worked to expand the city of Indore, and protected the animals and woods.  Her reign was characterised by benevolence, social reforms, and support for the arts and culture.

Hindutva icon Ahilyadevi promoted socioeconomic advancement in addition to dharma

Governance and Administration

Effective Governance: Ahilyabai is renowned for her fair and efficient governance.  She upheld law and order in her realm and prioritised the well-being of people and Dharm.

Infrastructure Development: She started a number of infrastructure initiatives that enhanced trade and agriculture, such as irrigation systems and roadways.

Patronage of Culture

Building of Temples: As a devoted Hindu, Ahilyabai ordered the building of many temples throughout Bharat.

Encouragement of the Arts: She helped in cultural revival by providing support to poets, artists, and academics. Her court developed into a centre for the arts and literature.

Reforms in society

Support for Women: Ahilyabai fought for the welfare and rights of women.  She backed numerous efforts to raise women’s status in society and promoted education for them.

Charitable Works: She was well-known for her generosity, sponsoring a range of social causes and offering assistance during famines.

Leadership in the Military

Defensive Strategies: Ahilyabai was a peace-oriented leader, but she was also able to lead a military. She kept a robust military presence and protected her kingdom from assaults.

Tolerance for Religion

Unity Among Populations: Ahilyabai fostered unity among the various populations in her realm by practising and advocating religious tolerance; however, she attacked those who were trying to destroy Sanatan Dharma and great culture.

Heritage

Enduring Influence: She is regarded as a role model in Bharatiya’s history, and her achievements have left a lasting legacy.  Throughout Bharat, there are statues and memorials dedicated to her.

Statues and memorials serve as a reminder of their sacrifices and the courage and unity they stood for.  It is a concept of national unity and integration that reflects pride in the nation and current political aspirations.

Additionally, it informs the public about the events that occurred at that time and how they still apply today.  It encourages a closer bond with local identities and customs. A sense of patriotism and a shared commitment to defending the freedom they fought for are sparked by memorials. Modern concerns, including women’s empowerment and environmental preservation, are addressed in new memorials.

Any mishap against this country will be dealt with firmly, as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar have demonstrated. This is important for the part of the world that despises Bharat and internal enemies who are engaged in a weaker Bharat and want to destroy its great culture and Sanatan Dharma. The proper strategy for the entire world to uphold and advance their national philosophies and practices in accordance with Sanatan Dharma Principles, thereby promoting world peace and happiness. Last but not least, honour the goddess and outstanding leader Ahilyadevi Holkar.
