PM Modi’s Address to the Nation | We have only paused our Military Action against Pakistan. It has not been stopped

In a firm address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear to Pakistan that they have been made to bite the dust during Operation Sindoor. If they try any misadventure again, India will retaliate on its terms and conditions. He cleared the air that as of now, the military action has just been paused

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on May 12 and briefed them about how the Indian armed forces effectively avenged the killings of 26 innocent tourists in Pahalagm on April 22. He said, “I would like to salute my intelligence agencies and scientists. In order to ensure that Operation Sindoor is successful, I salute all the soldiers who played a pivotal role.

Denouncing the Pahalgam attack, PM Modi said, “What happened on April 22, the whole world was shaken as the terrorists exhibited brutality and killed the tourists by asking their religion and killed them before their family members.

He opined, “For me this was a personal loss for me. Post the Pahalgam terrorist attack,  all the sections of the society united to fight against the terrorists.”

We gave free hand to our armed forces to avenge the killing. All the terrorists and the organisations have a learnt a lesson about what happened when they removed the Sindoor from the forehead of our women. Operation Sindoor is not just a name.

Indian armed forces struck precisely at the terrorist infrastructure in the morning of May 7. They could have never imagined what had struck them. When the Citizens put Nation First, then the result is before you.

When the India drones and missiles struck at the heart of terrorist infrastructure, it rattled them completely

The terrorists destroyed the sibnoor of our females, therefore we destroyed their hubs of terrorists. We killed more than 100 terrorists in these precision strikes.

All these terrorists who used to roam about freely, they were killed at one go. Pakistan was completely baffled and instead of supporting Bharat in the fight against terrorism, Pakistan targetted our religious places and civilians.

The world saw that Pakistan’s drones were turned into pieces by our effective air defence system. Bharat’s drones and missiles destroyed their airbase inside Pakistan.

After India’s retaliatory action,Pakistan pleaded to the world to come to their rescue. In the afternoon of May 10, 2025, Pakistan stated that they would not indulge in any military action, it is then that the Indian forces stopped.

PM Modi said, I would like to reiterate that right now we have suspended the Operation and we will take adequate action after we review their action.”

Hailing, Operation Sindoor, PM Modi said, “Operation Sindoor has set the new norm. If terrorists again attack Bharat, we will retaliate on our terms and conditions. Secondly, Bharat will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail.

Thirdly, we will not separately see those who support terrorists and will deal with them firmly.

PM Modi said that Pakistan is a perfect example of a country which does state sponsored terrorism. Pakistan’s military personnel came out to pay tributes to the terrorists killed in Operation Sindoor. This shows that Pakistan is state sponsored terrorism

PM Modi added that during Operation Sindoor we showed we are the leaders in the new age warfare. The world is seeing how effectively we used the made in India weapons. In this fight against terrorism, the world saw how effectively we used here.

He further said that zero tolerance towards terrorism will help to make a better world. The way Pakistan is supporting terrorism, it will be destroyed. Pakistan will have to be destroyed

Terror and talk and terror and trade cannot go hand in hand. Blood and water cannot flow together.

We will talk to Pakistan only on rooting out terrorism and on POJK.

Today is Buddha Purnima. The path of peace goes through power. When need be it is important to exercise power. Once again. I would like to salute the Indian Armed Forces.
