The J&K Police attached four properties belonging to three terrorists currently operating from Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK). The properties, spanning 14.8 kanals of land and valued at approximately Rs 28 lakh, were confiscated in Qasba and Kirni villages of Poonch district. The action was taken against Najab Din, Mohammad Latif, and Mohammad Bashir alias Tikka Khan, all of whom fled to PoJK and are actively engaged in promoting terrorism, disturbing peace, and threatening social harmony in Poonch and other parts of J&K.
“These individuals have long been involved in fueling unrest while safely operating from PoJK. By confiscating their properties, we are sending a strong message—those who conspire against the nation will not have any place left here,” a senior police official said.

The move is part of an intensified crackdown on the terror ecosystem in the Union Territory. Security agencies have been systematically targeting properties and financial networks that support terrorism in J&K.
The attachment of properties was carried out following legal procedures and court orders. Officials emphasized that strict action is being taken to dismantle the terror infrastructure, which continues to thrive with support from across the border. “Confiscation of assets is a critical step in choking terror funding and ensuring that the families of these terrorists do not benefit from their unlawful activities,” the police official added.
The administration under Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has also taken a tough stance against government employees found aiding terrorist organizations. As part of a larger clean-up operation, 79 government employees have been dismissed for their alleged involvement in anti-national activities.
“Providing logistics, facilitating terrorist movement, or motivating others to join terrorist ranks is an unforgivable crime. We will not allow any anti-national elements to operate from within government institutions,” a senior government official stated.
The recent property seizures are a continuation of the government’s broader strategy to eradicate terrorism from J&K. From financial crackdowns to dismissing radicalised government employees, the administration is leaving no stone unturned. “The message is clear—there is no room for terrorism in J&K. Those who support, harbor, or provide aid to terrorists will face the full force of the law,” said a senior security officer.
