Kerala: “Uphold Bharatiya culture to counter cultural marxism,” says J Nandakumar at BVK conference

Numerous flawed philosophies confront us, including cultural Marxism, the negation of true culture, and wokeism, which spreads from foreign lands to our campuses. We should be able to identify these influences and replace them with Bharatiya culture

J Nandakumar, Akhil Bharatiya Samyojak of Prajna Pravah, called on the countrymen to uphold the messages that Bharat has presented before the world and to resist the tendencies to embrace the dangerous aspects of Western ideals.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 42nd state conference of the Bharatiya Vichar Kendra, the Kerala chapter of Prajna Pravah. He was speaking on the topic, “Cultural Marxism – The Philosophy of Chaos.”

The contemporary Marxist leaders try to insert party flags into the hands of Swami Vivekananda, Sree Narayana Guru, and Mannathu Padmanabhan. What we see around us are several such attempts that appear to be realities. We must recognise these distortions and correct them properly. Numerous flawed philosophies confront us, including cultural Marxism, the negation of true culture, and wokeism, which spreads from foreign lands to our campuses. We should be able to identify these influences and replace them with Bharatiya culture. Bharat has put forward messages of awakening such as Uthishtata Jagratha and Thasmad Jagrata for the world. We must study the influence of foreign philosophies and educate the people. We should always remember the fact that Sanatana Dharma exists through us.

J. Nandakumar observed that Parameshwarji launched the Bharatiya Vichar Kendra as the successor of the thoughts of Maharshi Aurobindo and Swami Vivekananda. He reminded the audience that Parameshwarji was a great Guru who guided the thought process of Kerala and Bharat in the right direction.

The Prajna Pravah Samyojak stated that there are two arguments regarding the country’s Constitution: one is for rewriting the Constitution through a new Constitutional Council, while the other advocates for continuing with the Constitution as it is. Sangh and the Bharatiya Vichar Kendra do not accept either view. The Constitution is the contemporary smriti and should empower the world’s most beautiful and strong democracy. It must also prepare citizens to face the challenges of the future. The Constitution has fulfilled that responsibility so far. We are now entering a period of duty consciousness after navigating through a peculiar phase. We need to establish a firm foundation to dream of 2047 and gear up to prepare for it.

Bharatiya Vichar Kendra Director R. Sanjayan, CUSAT Professor Dr. D. Mavoth, Bharatiya Vichar Kendra General Secretary Dr. K.C. Sudheerbabu, and Reception Committee Chairman Adv. N. Aravindan also spoke on the occasion.
