A major “love jihad” conspiracy has come to light in Indore, where police arrested a Muslim man following a complaint by a Hindu organisation. The incident has sparked a wave of concern as authorities uncovered multiple fake identities, alleged Pakistani connections, and disturbing content on the accused’s mobile phone.

The incident occurred in the Tejaji Nagar area, where members of the Hindu Jagran Manch alerted authorities about suspicious activities at the Royal Villa Farmhouse. According to the police, the group had received information about a Muslim youth allegedly mingling with Hindu girls at a party in the farmhouse. Acting on their tip-off, the organisation raided the location and escorted the accused and one of the girls to the local police station.

During questioning, the accused, identified by various aliases including Samir Qureshi, Arif Qureshi, and Samir Singh, was found in possession of four Aadhaar cards bearing different names. His mobile phone revealed a shocking trail of chats and call logs involving Pakistani numbers. Investigators suspect that he was receiving instructions from contacts in Pakistan and other Muslim-majority countries to carry out “love jihad” activities.

Authorities also uncovered numerous photos and videos on the man’s phone depicting intoxicated Hindu girls in compromising situations. The man admitted to adopting fake Hindu identities to gain the trust of the girls and access to locations where he would otherwise face restrictions using his real name.

Tejaji Nagar police station in-charge Devendra Markam confirmed the sequence of events, stating that a written complaint from the Hindu Jagran Manch had initially brought the matter to their attention. “The accused was apprehended with incriminating evidence, including multiple forged identity documents and digital content linking him to suspicious activities,” Markam said.

The Hindu group alleged that the man had been targeting Hindu girls by disguising himself as a Hindu and luring them into relationships. They also claimed that the accused had taken the girl to Gujarat recently, raising further concerns about his intentions.

The accused’s family has denied any wrongdoing, explaining that their relatives reside in Pakistan and that phone conversations with them are routine. However, police are scrutinizing this claim, along with his fake IDs, mobile phone data, and alleged international connections.

Given the nature of the revelations, central investigative agencies are expected to join the probe. Officials suspect that the man was part of a broader network operating across borders to trap Hindu girls in romantic relationships under the guise of “love jihad.”

Hindu Jagran Manch members have accused the suspect of deliberately targeting Hindu girls, citing this as part of a larger conspiracy. Meanwhile, authorities are working to recover deleted messages and data from the accused’s phone, which may hold critical evidence about his ties to Pakistan and other entities.

The case has raised alarm in Indore, with locals demanding stringent action and a thorough investigation. Police are continuing their probe to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy, with updates expected in the coming days.
